Contantly cancelations and bad customer service.

Today is the second time I got my appointment cancelled by the clinic in Frederiksberg and with no noticed this last time. I arrived there are the clinic was closed. It has happened already on 17th January and today 28th March.
I have been a loyal customer of the clinic for more than a year, and I understand that some times, due to sickness of the personnel (which is unforeseen) cancellations can happen.
But it is starting to be a normal thing to get cancellation (I can see I am not the only customer) and bad customer service that don´t inform in due time.

Their customer service is bad as I called to the phone number, and in both instances nobody picked up the phone. When I asked to refund me the clip back in the system from a clip card I bought, they said they would made a note but I can´t see in the system. So you better save the email with the written answer not to have issues afterwards.
I am really frustrated because not only is already difficult to get a time, I have to plan and get time off from work to come in. And then discover the clinic is closed without notice.
I will not recommend Smooth at all, after my experience. When I finally finish my clip card with them, I will search for another clinic. This is not nice and it doesn´t give much trust to customers that this is becoming a norm.

I went for my fourth appointment a couple of days ago and so far my experience has been mostly positive and I have seen some results. The treatment I got from Silke the last time I went was however greatly above my expectations that I thought she deserved a review! She got an eye for the small details and really knows how to make the client feel comfortable:)) So to sum it up: I'd recommend this clinic in general, but especially if you can get a time with Silke!

Went for permanent hair removal. Silke was great and made me feel very comfortable as it was my first time. She checked in with me at all times to make sure I was ok. I didn't think permanent hair removal would be a pleasant experience but it was here. Great place!

I've had 2 treatments so far and already after the first one I could see some results. I am happy with the treatment so far, but customer service could be improved.
I booked the second treatment at the salon and later on received an email saying that my appointment was moved to a pop up location, which is not far away from the main one in Frederiksberg, but still further away for me. My appointment was scheduled at 8 am. I arrived 10 min earlier and received an sms at 8 saying that the operator is running late due to traffic. She arrived 10 min late, I had to wait outside in the cold. So my treatment started at 8.15, which makes a difference, when you book an appointment at 8 to make sure that you can be at work in time. It's really not acceptable being late. In addition when talking to the operator, I found out that she is always working at this pop up location, so it seems like the staff knew about it when they booked my appointment. It would be great if they could ask me if it was ok for me to go to another location to begin with.

Strongly recommended! The service is impeccable and the staff is very nice and professional. I had all my treatments done by Silke and she’s amazing!

My experience with Smooth is just amazing! Tamara has been my person there from the beginning to the end. She is super observant, professional and very kind. We had a few consultations on the way to evaluate the progress. Every session was really good, she was always well prepared and focused, made me feel comfortable and made sure we are doing the best we can. Smooth is a cozy place with lovely people around, I enjoy every visit and never had issues with getting an appointment when it works for me.

I have been going to Tamara and I have been very happy with her professionalism and the actual results. She makes sure that the treatment is not carried out in a hurry and she takes time to make you feel comfortable. Lasering is not always the most nicest experience but Tamara makes it worth it. :D

I have struggled a lot with the hair on my body and dealing with ingrown hairs and uncomfortable shaving bumps. I started going to Smooth and started with getting the hair in my armpits removed. I have to say how incredibly impressed I am, I have only had 2 sessions and I can already see a huge difference and impact the laser has taken on my body, seriously amazing and i'm so happy to see how fast i'm experiencing results.

I go to the Smooth in Frederiksberg and the girls there are so sweet and really take care of you ❤️❤️❤️

My complain is in regards to the booking and not the treatment, and if I could give 0 starts; I would definitely do it.

I’ve been trying to be patient in regards to this clinic, and giving more chances but enough is enough therefore I am now officially writing a public criticism.
AVOID going and DO NOT choose this clinic if you want to be treated with professionalism. Out of my 5 appointments, 4 were cancelled (23/01, 24/03, 25/04 and 08/06) due to sickness and today it was cancelled one hour and 15 minutes before the appointment.
My very first appointment (back in December and not counted above) was booked in Frederiksberg but their system registered in Østerbro.

Great job with friendly service. I’ve had several sessions now with SMOOTH and the girls there are just fantastic! All so friendly and helpful, always making sure I’m comfortable and also very knowledgeable. The locations are also really nice. Highly recommend!

My experience with the clinic hasn´t been "smooth" at all, and I have to say that I´m very disappointed.

First, when I had the first consultation I´ve being asked some stuff and was evaluated about my hair type by asking and looking on my arms, even though I was going to get laser on my legs, bikini and armpits.

I got my first appointment cancelled at last moment, and due that the waiting time for a new one was 1 month I was offered an appointment with a girl on practice. I said yes, because I wanted to give it a try. It wasn´t that bad, it wasn´t that good either, because she was still learning. The weirdest thing is that many times the new girls are practicing alone, without any kind of supervision.

My second appointment was assigned wrongly, so I was sent to a different clinic, which resulted that I missed that appointment.

My third appointment was cancelled AGAIN with short notice, in a moment where it was crucial that I respected the waiting times between treatments, so in order to not waiting a whole month I was offered again a treatment with a girl on practice, and this was THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The girl didn´t seem to know what she was doing, she was holding the laser away from my skin, which resulted in a painful experience, where I had to ask several times to reduce the intensity because it was burning me, and every time the girl seemed annoyed. I felt really uncomfortable with her, and I had obviously ZERO results after that treatment (because she used a low intensity), so even thought I got a discount, it was an absolute waste of money.

After my 4th session, without getting the best results, I decided to change to the only operator who seems to really understand how to get results from the laser: Tamara. I have to say she´s the best, and is the reason why I don´t rate with 1 star the place. I got my 5th and 6th with her, because I wasn´t getting that many results before, but if the clinic says you need between 4 to 6 treatments, so I had to take 6 and follow all the instructions they gave me.

I got my last treatment (nr. 6), and been re-evaluated, after which I was told that I shoul try one more sesion to see If I get results or If I just had to drop it, after all the money spent, because I wasn´t getting results. It´s actually funny, because before I started I´ve been told that most people need between 4 and 6, that only a few needs more, and that nobody can guarantee you how you´re going to respond, but that I was the perfect candidate for laser, because I have light skin and dark hair. And now, at the end, I´m one of the unlucky ones that need more treatments. It totally sounds like a scam.

At this point, because I trusted Tamara, I decided to get the one extra, because she adviced me to give it a shot. Honestly, I didn't make a big difference.

I decided to get one sesion in another clinic (I was travelling and I got a very good deal), which uses a new IPL machine, and after one sesion I saw a huuuuuge improvement, plus it was totally painfree (opposite to the one in smooth, which it´s super painful for me), so I could see that it wasn´t me the one that didn´t respond to the laser, because this one worked.

Now in retrospective, If I would have known all this, that I would need 8 or more treatments, or that the IPL seemed to worked better, I would definitely have chosen one of the other clinics with more reviews and years of experience, and where they honestly say that is going to take 8 or 10 treatments, so I wouldn´t feel like I wasted a lot of money and time to end up with just some less hair, which I still need to shave.

I still rate the clinic with 3 stars, because I did get some results, though. The very-dark haired areas (armpits and bikini) are ok (after all those sesions I´m not hair-free, unfortunately I need to shave from time to time), but still the hair there is few and thinner and grows slow. I have to recognize as well that I got a very discrete result on my legs, and that could help the IPL to work that well, but it wasn´t actually an optimal result after 7 sesiones, and I still have to shave.

The only thing I say is be careful, because you may end up being one of the "unlucky ones".
