SmoothApply is a modern online resume builder designed to help job seekers create clean, recruiter-ready, ATS-friendly resumes without fighting document formatting. Most traditional word processors and template builders break layouts when you add a single bullet point or try to fit your experience onto one page. SmoothApply solves this with a live visual editor where you edit text directly on the page and control every layout detail with precision sliders. Key features of SmoothApply include live inline editing directly on your resume canvas, instant resume import from existing PDF or Word (.docx) files including scanned resumes, and granular spacing, margin, font size, and line height controls to fit content cleanly on one or two pages. Users can switch between one-column, two-column, and mixed section layouts with drag-and-drop reordering, and use built-in AI tools for rewriting bullet points, generating professional summaries, and tailoring resumes to specific job descriptions. Every download produces a clean, selectable-text PDF engineered to pass Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and iCims. Whether you are a software engineer, nurse, finance professional, recent graduate, or executive, SmoothApply lets you build and customize your resume in minutes in your browser with no account required to start, and transparent pricing with no hidden trial traps.See more
