I topped up balance and it clearly said Chinese numbers were available, however Upon clicking purchase" turns out they ran out of it. When I messaged support, they said to "wait for a long time".

I purchased a virtual number from SMS-Activate and successfully activated it. I set it up for use with the Finom service for my business. Initially, everything worked well, but after two days, the codes stopped coming through. I contacted their support, and they assured me that the issue would be resolved. However, after a week of constant back-and-forth, the issue was never fixed. To make matters worse, the number was eventually blocked without any explanation or resolution to my problem.

This situation caused me significant financial harm, as I lost $400 due to their lack of support and unfulfilled promises. I strongly advise caution when using this service, as their support and reliability are highly questionable.

Before I edited this review, I gave it one star because I thought it was a scam.

After a while of using it I think the service is good enough to get the job done but you will probably encounter error codes when paying, not always receive the SMS and have to resend it or change number.

But numbers are very cheap, you can use them for activation or for rental for a maximum of 30 days.

Sometimes you will have to activate a VPN in the country where the number is located, or else the service won’t send you the SMS.

The fee I uploaded was not reflected on the website, be careful. Support is not helping, they are not refunding my money.

I have purchase number from different ccompanies on this number and could not get any code from any and the customer service is shit too delay in response and talking gibberish I do not understand

The support treat you like shit. I have an issue on Shopee verification over using Voice activation. They system capture 8 digit code when the application requires 6 digit code. I immediately contact support that the verification did not match require length. I tried resend thinking it was a bug or something it still send 8 more digit on top of the previous one. When i am still having 12mins on the rent. They asking me for screenshot and the error. And then the rent time was almost up. They just ask me to use the last 6 digit which did not work at all and then this support guy was offline and gone. I get to ask for update a 2nd support came but did not fulfill what still why ask me why i did not activate the code when THE CODE IS WRONG AT ALL.. Which part they stupid and did not know it!. then it came for the 3rd support guy. Now this guy got the guts to ask me for a video proof.... what the hell is the first support doing then? Come one man..... you guys are such a cheater company. They still dare to say without video we cant help at all...... WHY AT FIRST YOU DON'T TELL CUSTOMER FOR A VIDEO FIRST????

Addon to their reply:12582765 go figure it out what wrong then. I not going to provide anything else on this shit. I call for refunds of all my credits except the first coin, I will treat it as beggars gift to the company. Since you cant resolve the problem at all. 3hrs of troubleshoot wasting my time for the reply and screenshot after screenshot.

That was the reason i use to verify via call to get codes else i would have
use SMS. Any all your SMS already trigger by suspicious activities which
did not work that why I use call instead.
When they call you give me a 8 digit code back but the Shopee application verification only requires 6 digit only.
This is the problem you had on it. It doesn't work with shopee in this case so you should had removed it from your list of applications.

2. Your list of SMS Number DO NOT WORK AT ALL for Shopee Application they flag it as an unusable number and require a call back verification.
3. WITH No 2 point mentions. I brought Number services INSTEAD!.
4. YOUR NUMBER SERVICES DID RETURN A CODE BACK.
5. YOUR NUMBER SERVICES DID NOT RETURN A CORRECT CODE WHICH IT GIVES TO ME 8 DIGIT
6. SHOPEE APP required ONLY 6 DIGIT CODE

I tried to topup balance using bank card, didn't work for some reason (on their end), reached out to support and instead of even trying to fix the problem, or get in touch with someone who should fix the problem they said I should try the other method (theri app), I download their app just to see the same error as in the website. Then I tell this to the support and they suggest to try new method... u see where I am going with this... Instead of solving the problem with their service they were driving me around in circles and eventually when I said "I dont want to try anymore methods, can someone fix the issue with bank cards" The support agent said coldbloded after 30 mins of me trying everything he suggested "Try in one hour."
This is by far the biggest joke of both the service and the customer support I've ever seen.

horrible website, I signed up for an account with a RENTED number and after 10 minutes i couldnt not receive sms, i lost 100$ from this

Bought a number, did not use it for a day, the second day I lost access to it. The crazy part is that, that same day I bought the number, my bank card was hacked, as well as my email.

The system works, the SMS arrives, but after a few weeks, they resell access to the number, i use WhatsApp a lot, but after a few weeks, I get a message saying my number was activated on another phone.

Beware this is a scam site

Attempted to recover a number and the owner told me to add $40 to my balance then he started ghosting me. Not recommended and untrusted.

Bulshit service and support they disable number while still on use and they ask for extra to reactivate it for 60 min

I have been using Sms-Activate for three years now, first I bought numbers for myself, now I have my own team. Now I buy numbers at a normal discount, which is nice.

After saying support will reach back to me, they said I needed to pay more btc to cover the minimum balance, I did and even 10$ more and still didnt Top up my balance I think I'm getting scammed
