We are in December and haven't gotten our crates for October.
Most subscription you receive your item for that month. Ex Nov crate will arrive in Nov December in Decemberm however all our crates arrive a month later. So the October crate arrive in November, November crate in December. They make Cancleation of a subscription hard to do so as well. I can't wait till our subscription ends with this company.

I sent an email yesterday and another one today, but haven’t had a response yet. I was overcharged and am waiting on boxes to come in. Never got a shipping date when I signed up, website just says shipping soon. Man, I wish I would have listened to the bad reviews I read, but I just really thought this would be a cool gift. Im not confident at this point that my money will be refunded or boxes will arrive before Christmas. One Can only hope. I would really feel better if someone would contact me and help me get this all worked out. Just be ready for a headache if you order SnackCrate.

I purchased the 3 month subscription as a gift. The first crate was received but no additional crates have shipped. I have emailed twice with no response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ITS A SCAM!

This is my second time subscribing to Snack Crate. The first time was for a year for my teen and it was GREAT, different destination each time, delivered on time, communication was quick and able to pause and/or cancel at any time. So here we are a couple years later my youngest wanted to try it so I was happy to come back and very quickly disappointed. I signed up for the year, we have received 7 boxes so far (2 have been doubles). I was charged for October and then 2 weeks later the website explained that due to export issue there would be a week or so wait until we got our package (fine, I get it). Then November came and I was charged again for a box before the website again stated that now both October and November would be delivered together. I tried to cancel at that time and was informed that I had to complete the year (4 more boxes). Here we are for December and you guessed it, the money is being pulled out and box being shipped but the website still states that October and November boxes cleared customs and will be arriving together. They should have automatically paused or offered to cancel the remaining subscription. The boxes are not cheap and were paying for a product that they are aware we are NOT receiving and have no idea when we will be. I would not recommend this snack service and will not be renewing.

My daughter received both boxes today. I'm still mad that October and November's boxes shipped together in a snack crate box, meaning that Octobers never shipped when it was supposed to originally, causing a ridiculous wait time. However, my daughter (who is on the spectrum) was ecstatic and over the moon that one of those boxes contained snacks from South Korea and has since forgotten everything else. Hoping that December's box arrives on time (stars have been changed from 1 to 4 to reflect).

Ordered back in October. Haven't received a single box yet. No clue as to where it is either since there's no clear indication on how to find it. They said I would get both packages by the end of this month. Well.. it's the 30th and still no update. Hopefully most people don't have to deal with this here, but yeah, any help would be appreciated and I'd love to try the snacks I paid for lol

I've been subscribing for a while. I feel like the boxes get repetitive. For instance I've had Canada 3 times, Germany 3 times the Caribbean 2. With almost 200 recognize countries in the world, I should not be getting the same countries over and over.

I’m only giving this one star because I HAVE to! I subscribed in September and did receive a box. Since then I’ve been charged 3 months and have not received any other box besides my first one! I called and asked for my money back and to cancel my subscription and they told me I’d have to pay more money if I want to cancel!!! This is ridiculous. Now they will respond and say delays and they deeply apologize but that means absolutely nothing when they continue to charge you but DO NOT deliver nor hold up their end of the bargain. I completely regret subscribing to this company.

They charge you but don't deliver, and then blame everyone but themselves. I've been charged for the last 2 months and then some and haven't seen a box since September. They sent out an email today blaming shipping and everything else but their ineptitude, and yet they don't offer any kind of discount or compensation for what they've charged us for. Give me a break.
Let's add December to this list to, but this time customer service emailed me back 3 times and kept the email going until finally on the 31st I got an email from them that my December boxes were finally shipping. WARNING DON'T SIGN UP, AVOID IT ALL COSTS. THEY ARE A RIPOFF.

I’m reaching out because I would like to cancel my subscription and would also like the cancellation fee to be waived . Why ? Because at the same time I joined snack crate i joined another company similar, and I’ve received two shipments since joining (one for October and another for November ) and I have yet to receive anything from this company no package , no discount for the inconvenience ,no nothing , BUT I’ve been charged twice since subscribing . When I previously reached out to snack crate I was notified that the shipment from South Korea had just arrived at the warehouse , then I asked can both my months be shipped together (to prevent me having to wait so long . I didn’t care if it was random snack from random countries either I was told that wasn’t possible . I understand the snacks are coming from another country but if shipping is going to take so long y’all should select snacks a month or two in advance so they can arrive in America at a decent time . I do apologize for any inconvenience but again I will like to cancel the subscription and the fee to be waived being that I haven’t received anything . I just want my money back from BOTH months . Thank you .

I have been nothing but disappointed with SnackCrate. I have been charged for October and November crate and have yet to receive them. Charging somebody for product not received, is theft. It is impossible to get in contact with anybody. Then when i do,3 days later, I keep getting excuse after excuse. I was told it would be shipped out one weekend. Then they said it will be shipped the weekend after that. I want what I was already charged for. Simple as that. I'm sure there competitors will actually give me product payed for.

The snacks are mostly good but shipping is terrible. It never ships on time and tracking doesn't follow close. It'll say shipped but not where it is.

Ya you say your "handling it" but your customer service rep keeps asking "if I'm sure" over and over and it takes forever for then to respond which has drawn out the cancellation request almost 3 weeks now. Stop asking and do it!
Order my first box for September and received it in October because of port delays...when it was received I had video documentation of damage to the snacks..looked to be missing items or just supplied us with very small items instead and crumbled items. Reached out via email October 23 about the issue with the documentation. Requested for a cancellation because I was displeased with service, presentation for cost, and length of time to receive. I was asked over the course of days over and over are you sure you want to cancel ...and I has said repeatedly yes...that I didn't care about the cancellation fee to cancel customer service stoped responding to email on Oct 31 never cancelled and I just got charged for another box. This company is so unprofessional, shady, and has no customer service ...I should be able to talked to someone instead of coming on here , reporting to BBB, instead of sending emails over and over for noone to respond!!!!

What went wrong? Everything. The company does not provide any communication, it is left to the customer to do all the work. We subscribed to the Premium Crate back in August and as of today, October 23rd, we have only received the August Crate. We can understand the delays caused by the Hurricanes and the Port Workers Strike, that is out of SnackCrate's control. However, they failed to notify us of any delays and continued to charge our payment method. The most recent update from SnackCrate indicated that all non-customized Crates would be shipped by October 21st. Our account shows the Crate as shipped but the tracking number through USPS shows just the creation of a label. We sent an email on the 21st asking for confirmation of the shipment to which we received no reply. We attempted to email customer service again today, but we're not expecting any response. For a service that is meant to deliver snacks monthly to customers, SnackCrate has horrible customer service and communication. We'd highly recommend anyone stay away, please learn from our mistake.
As a note to the company: If a customer is still awaiting for a Crate from the previous month, please don't send them emails asking them to choose snacks for the next month. We have received emails asking us to add snacks to the October and November Crates when we are still waiting for September's Crate. It just adds unnecessary insult to injury.

Absolutely NOT worth your money. First box showed up quickly and was not worth the 18 dollars we paid which was half off for signing up for 6 months…. Well that was back in August…. I’ve now been Charged 31 dollars for Septembers box and have not received it as of Oct 23. Also was charged 31 dollars for Octobers box and HAVE NOT RECEIVED THAT ONE EITHER…. Talked to customer service and asked to cancel subscription and was charged an additional 18 dollars for the first box just to cancel my subscription. Soo I’ve now paid 93 dollars for one box that was mostly thrown out because the snacks weren’t tasty at all….DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! This is basically a scam

Boxes ship very late. My July box did not ship until August. My august box did not ship until September. I have even billed for September and October’s boxes but have not received either. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Ehh, I really wanted to like this. The first month was fun, the kids enjoyed it, but then crates started coming later and later and the snacks were stale and underwhelming. Port closed understandable but now I’ve been charge for two crates I have yet to receive. None of the good snacks in the advertisement you actually receive. Also I understand committing to a monthly subscription but if you’re not happy with said subscription you should be able to unsubscribe! I think they make it that way because they know people would unsubscribe because the crate suck. Love the concept but do better! 10/10 DON’T RECOMMEND!!!
