I have had SnapDownloader for 3 1/2 years. I got it for YouTube. It stopped functioning after a month. I contacted support. They fixed it immediately. Evidently, YouTube changes their encryption to battle against downloading, and force you to pay to eliminate advertisements. Then, I had identity theft. My phone number and all email accounts were stolen. I contacted support, to change my info. I needed to provide the credit card number I used to purchase. I had destroyed that card, and it took several emails for me to provide that info, but they stuck with me, until I gave them the correct one. Excellent communication. I would ignore the poor reviews. It does what it says. I love downloading music videos with the built-in MP3 conversion; I don’t need to strip the video through an additional app. I have a choice of downloading video resolutions from 144p to 8K(60fps), 3 video types, 8 audio types, and subtitles if I want. 4 1/2 years of good service deserves every star.

I decided to try SnapDownloader when I had difficulty downloading videos using the other 2 video software packages that I have on my computer. More often than not SnapDownloader came through including getting videos from YouTube, Instagram, X and Facebook. And to date, I have never had a glitch with this software either. Definitely worth the money!

The SnapDownloader app is downloading all of the YouTube videos that I have wanted. I was skeptical but the app has proven to be great for these downloads. I purchased the personal lifetime version which will never expire. I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to download ANY videos from YouTube.

Finally responded to my email. Although it took the tech support of SnapDownloader at least a week to respond to my email (because it doesn't have a customer service phone number), the company was able to inform me that the reason I was having trouble downloading videos was because of a virus I had on my computer, not the software itself. I like the user-friendly software but not the customer support at the moment.

Snaploader works really well. It is an excellent resource for research on developing video shorts. The support given if any problem is swift and helpful

I purchased SnapDownloader a couple of years ago. Over the past month, I've had 3 instances where SnapDownloader wouldn't allow me to download YouTube videos. The first was a licensing issue, the second was due to an update they had sent out, but wouldn't run, and the third was another issue that I really don't know what it was. Regardless, every time I had one of these experiences I would email the customer support team, and the issue would be resolved within 24 hours. I work in the customer service arena for a billion dollar company, who is owned by one of the largest IT companies in the US. When I have an issue with my work computer and request assistance, it usually takes days for them to just acknowledge the receipt of my problem ticket, and a week to resolve the issue... at a minimum. The IT support team at SnapDownloader is a first class operation. It would be unrealistic to expect to never have issues with a software application. This is a professional team that knows what they are doing, and go the extra mile to resolve customer issues!! I highly recommend this program to anyone considering using a downloading application. To me, Customer Service after the sale and installation is far more important than any other aspect of the purchase.

Best program. Paid lifetime lisence and have been downloading videos from vimeo, youtube and many paid courses through the browser. (Have been using it for a couple of years, changed computer and migrated the lisence key) Had a few issues like vimeo not working for a while (maybe because I downloaded so much!) but after contacting them it has been resolved. Super happy and would definitely recommend it!

This by far the best downloader and converter I've used. Super safe not had an issue with anything troubling towards my laptop. Really easy and straightforward to use. This is definitely my go to

While it is somewhat competent as a wrapper for yt-dlp, this app is **entirely unreliable** and buggy as hell! Nearly every channel download has frequent failures which have to be addressed one-by-one *while* having to click on a popup every single time. Failure rate is about 20%.

It gets quickly overwhelmed when busy downloading, such that its user interface becomes unresponsive for minutes at a time. Good luck trying to reduce the thread count when it's busy, because the threads popup won't populate any options (so you're stuck). This is what happens when you run very long operations in a single-threaded app. Hence: amateurish.

IT DOES NOT SAVE YOUR DOWNLOAD LIST. I accidentally closed the app and it exited without a peep. When I relaunched it, MY ENTIRE QUEUE of over 1000 pending dowloads VANISHED!!!

Its export downloads feature does not work, either for CSV or text. I've tried it a dozen times and it just shows an error popup.

ALL too often, it doesn't even bother to save the downloaded files into the proper folder, just dumping everything into the root folder. This means you may try downloading 100 channels but may end up with 50 channels empty but the root folder holding hundred or thousands of files.

Fast Updates almost after sites have updated their format. A problematic "no Video" site fix is by opening it on new tab may have a video. Most often pages in magazine format is preferred than a video. Highlight the pages and print it on PDF format. Snaploader also extracts and all videos.

I paid for lifetime license on 28th June 2024.
But the service only availabe for less than two months.
I contacted them.
They didn't fix the problems.
Now they stop replaying

I had a similar app, (Houlo) over time it had glitchy problems with updating and no support available. I decided to give Snap Downloader a try, what a difference! This app does everything for you, the quality is first class and so fast. I did a trial for a little while (maybe ten minutes!) and then bought a life time subscription. Very happy with this program.

Finally, a downloader program that works as advertised - no surprises. Easy to use downloader for videos and audio from YouTube and other websites. Works well, files play accurately after download.

I had been looking for a program to download music and other videos. SnapDownloader has performed flawlessly and is very straight forward to use. I would recommend SnapDownloader to anyone who loves music or other videos posted on line.

What a great little tool. It hasn't failed to do as advertised. I especially like the Trim feature before the download, as it makes the whole idea much easier.

I found SnapDownloader software by accident. What a tremendous surprise for me!!! The reviews were great, and I have to agree. I am not super techie, but Snap is easy to use. I have converted Youtube clips for my movies. Even better, I can convert a Youtube video to an MP3 music file. How great is that? I would highly suggest this for all.
