You're not buying a sneaky pete, you're doing business with a sneaky pete
I placed an order almost a month ago. While ordering there was no disclaimer advising of back orders or manufacturing delays. I received the confirmation and was billed for the holster. I have not received the holster or any further communication. Delays like this shouldn't happen but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume there may be factors outside of their control. What I can't understand or forgive is the complete lack of communication. We're living in the digital age, there is no excuse for billing 100$ and ghosting the customer for a month.
I found an old forum post discussing similar issues. The owner responded and said they are a mom & pop shop and used the volume of inquires as an excuse to justify the lack of communication. I don't expect someone that makes firearm accessories to be an online commerce and customer service expert but reasonable businesses hire people that fill the gaps. There are countless online storefronts with proper sales infrastructure. You'd think 100 bucks for some leather and sewing would give them enough of a margin to outsource their customer service.
