Very disappointed

Very disappointed. While their website has "All sales final" and provide the policy that they will not cancel an order or refund or exchange...THEY have no problem confirming an order, charging your card, and then cancelling it on the buyer with no explanation. I have now had THREE CANCELLATIONS after receiving confirmation emails and having my card charged. Here is what I think happens. They sell as many shoes as they can on popular drops, then they place an order, then they cancel what they can't get from their order. Unbelievable.

I’m extremely disappointed with my…

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I paid in advance for a pair of sneakers Jordan Retro 8 Aqua to be exact, thinking they would be shipped out promptly. Instead, I received no updates—and on the day of the release, after the drop time, I got an email from Sneaker Room saying it was their fault and they’d be refunding me.

The problem? By then, the shoes had already sold out everywhere within minutes, and I never had a fair shot at getting them elsewhere. If they had canceled my order the night before, I could have made other plans or tried on SNKRS.

It feels incredibly unprofessional and shady, almost like they sold the shoes I already paid for to someone else. This whole situation was avoidable and handled poorly. Moving forward, I’ll be sticking with SNKRS App, which—while not perfect—is at least more reliable.

Honestly, I’d expect some form of store credit or compensation for the inconvenience and lost opportunity. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won’t be shopping with Sneaker Room again anytime soon.

I placed an order for an exclusive pair…

I placed an order for an exclusive pair of shoes and the payment went through, no problem at all. I then receive a message a while later indicating that they received my request to cancel my order. I did not submit this request. I tried following up to find out more information, however, they have not responded in a few days span. I’m not upset about the cancellation as much as I’m annoyed that they tried to make it seem like I requested it and then just ghosted me. Avoid them, they don’t care about you as the customer, don’t communicate well, and cannot own their mistake (cancellation due to overselling or whatever the case may be).

I don’t understand how order was canceled when I purchased on Thursday. It’s now Saturday. I’m a new customer by the way. So disappointed. What’s the point buying early?
