Snowballs Underwear Reviews 

I absolutely love Snowballs underwear. I bought them 8 years ago and they lasted for years… I recently re-purchased and bought six pairs they’re the only underwear I wear!
At the time I purchased them I had a varicocele repair. Now, I love wearing them simply for the support and a comfort.

[I purchased two packs of SnowBalls Underwear which includes a total of four pairs of underwear and six SnowWedges. I also bought a SnowMaker Cold Snap-Pack which includes ten SnowMaker ice packs.]

The first thing I want to say is that I love/support the idea behind scrotal cooling and, having done it for a while now I can definitely confirm, anecdotally, that it works. The effects that it has on me are definitely the kind of effects you’d expect from an increase in testosterone although I admit I haven’t confirmed that with a lab test.

The SnowBalls Underwear you can go ahead and throw in the garbage. It’s worthless. Yes, it has a pouch sewn in the front for holding ice packs, but the underwear doesn’t breath at all. It gets very hot if there isn’t an ice pack actively cooling it and the underwear itself is very rough to the touch even after several washes. Definitely not what you would want to wear if keeping your groin area cool is your goal. I ended up buying a minimalistic jock strap that had just a waistband, a mesh pouch normally used for holding a protective cup that is perfect for ice packs, and two elastic retention straps to keep the pouch firmly pressed against your crotch which is dramatically better than SnowBalls Underwear. As a bonus it was only fifteen dollars.

The SnowWedges are a much better product (and the only reason I’m giving this review two stars instead of one). Under Ice LLC definitely did a good job with making the SnowWedge gel packs contoured to male anatomy and they fit well once you get the hang of using them. They definitely don’t last thirty minutes, but I’ve found that they’re perfect for running through them one after the other if you have all six in the freezer ready to go while you’re at home. If SnowWedges were available for purchase separate from the underwear I would definitely buy them (and it’s strange that they’re not available separately given that the SnowBalls homepage literally has a picture of a SnowWedge 3-Pack in its own separate box).

The SnowMaker Cold Snap-Packs are definitely not a product I would recommend. When you first activate one it’s neat that it starts to get cold, but don’t go thinking that it’s gonna get fresh from the freezer cold. It’s not. I’ve tried activating one and then going for a walk, but it wasn’t able to effectively cool fast enough to keep up with my body heat. If you refreeze a SnowMaker and use it as a normal ice pack that you sit on/hold to your crotch while you’re at home they’re okay (that’s what I use them for), but there are much better ice packs you can buy for that. Another drawback of the SnowMaker Cold Snap-Packs is that they have a large amount of air trapped inside them that has a tendency to interfere with the ability of the frozen contents of the ice pack to maintain contact with your crotch thus it would be better to just buy a different type of ice pack that doesn’t have that problem.

Overall, while I’m glad that I have the six SnowWedges that I have the underwear and SnowMakers are useless. I’m not happy with how much money I ended up wasting on them (~$130) and that’s why I took the time to write this review which I hope future customers find helpful. I wish someone would have written one that I could have read before I wasted all this money.

A really great quality product says my husband who is using these 3 to 4 times per week. Shipping was seamless coming from the US and arriving in Australia. They work effectively and I am told they are very comfortable. The instructions were great.

The mediums were too tight on the thighs.

Product does not function as advertised. The "SnowWedge" only remains cool for a maximum of 15 mins when worn. Not practical to switch out wedges every 15 mins.

I have azoospermia (0 sperm count) for now and I'm hoping this will eliminate one of my worst enemies, heat.

I believe that cooling the balls is one of the solutions to my problem. It's science. As long as you maintain a lower average temperature for your balls per day it should help start sperm production and increase testosterone.

I realize now that I wore layers of clothes, and jeans all the time. I would also sit down for 12-16 hours per day with my office job, car rides, and sitting at home.

Now I use a standup desk, walk more, and don't spend too much time on the couch.

I will use the Snowballs consistently everyday for 3 months to see what improvements it's made to my counts.

Snowballs Underwear is really convenient to use. You must be careful when using the cool packs because the edges are a little sharp. The cold temp doesn't last long about 15 mins each but I usually use 8 times a day for a total of 2 hours.

In their defense, it depends what you're wearing and how much body heat you generate.

I also take care of my health by eating healthy, exercising, taking vitamins/minerals/herbals for optimal chances of improvement.

I have a really good feeling that this will help me get my wife pregnant. Goal is to get her pregnant within 2 months naturally, and not 3 months instead of IVF or invasive surgeries.

Please pray for my wife and I's fertility breakthrough. When this works, I will become a Snowballs Underwear ambassador for life.

I bought these for my husband, he absolutely loves them! According to him, there is nothing better than having cool balls when your trying to sleep. Thank you, this is just what we were looking for. Highly recommend them to others!

easy to use & convenient

Husband likes the product. Only complaint are with the ice packs. I read about the ice packs being an issue but decided to take the risk anyways. Of course, after a couple weeks, the ice pack broke. I emailed customer service and they sent replacements immediately which was unexpected. Im very happy with how they responded but hope they fix their ice pack issue.

I bought a snowballs kit, not the underwear, because I had one, but no cooling packs. I received the cooling packs and I thought those were reusable, and I could have put them back and in refrig and reuse them, but I understand they are throw away. What I have come to make a review, those packs are too expensive to use them if they are throw away. I hope they can learn and maybe make some that can be put in the refrigerator and then use them afterwards. For me that cool packs are too expensive, but while waiting to see if I was going to buy some, I came up with a cold pack I made and it works very well, and all I do is put in refrigerator to get cold and once cold, I use it and it works awesome. So, just wanted to give a review and not saying some like it, but for me, too expensive to use the cold packs

Got here really quick and I love the issues it helps with. I’ll definitely be buying more in the future to help with said issues

Comfortable underwear, ordered a size up based on others comments. Only wish is the band around the waist was a bit tighter as it tends to slip down. The rest of the underwear fits good. Was worried about the extra material to hold the ice packs but it’s not too noticeable.

Had one cold pack bust after 3 weeks of use

Very gimmicky. The trousers are really small and tight, even the XL and I normally just use L. The only useful thing is the gell pack which you can use without the underwear if your sitting. In which case you can just use your existing underwear to help hold it in place. Definitely not worth the price

Great experience, quick shipping and they fit great! They were purchased for post-vasectomy wear and they have been totally perfect. Soft and comfortable, sturdy, and very supportive. The multiple ice packs for switching are great. I wish I'd bought a couple more pairs for this use, because I'm having to wash them every day now to keep one clean, so if that's what you're buying for keep that in mind. I will definitely be recommending these!
