Ordered with b and q, delivered quickly, had 1 pack not delivered by courier firm but after contacting snowden they followed up quik, let me know what was happening and it was with me the next day. Can't blame anyone for delivery firms actions but can give huge thanx when its delt with so quik and easy. Excellent

If I could this company 0 stars I would! After placing an order and feeling the excitement of starting the project imagine my dismay to receive sleepers that were cracked/split. With having the ability to purchase rejected sleepers from their website I really didn’t think there would be an issue with the ones I’d purchased. I phoned customer services to have helpful and understanding service. After reviewing the photos from courier the company sent a replacement with next day delivery. However, they didn’t arrive the next day (Friday). With my project starting that weekend I had no choice to source from elsewhere. When they arrived on the following Tuesday I refused delivery due to arriving late.
I've contacted Snowdon Timber three times for a refund. First time (day of refused delivery) they stated they would have to wait for them to arrive back with them but would check sporadically. The second time agreed full refund and would email accounts and I should receive within 24 hours. I then reached out 4 days later when refund was still missing. I was told by colleague that there shouldn’t be a problem but wanted to check with management. I’ve received an email later that day informing me that a return fee would be deducted from the refund as the product wasn’t defective but characteristics of the product under b and q’s terms and conditions. I stated I did not purchase from b and q but from them directly. They’ve stated they have the same t and c’s.
The actions of the others staff members do not reflect the managers decision for a partial refund. Despite what the response from this review states I’ve received ZERO refund not partial nor full from Snowdon Timber to date, hence why I’ve raised a dispute with PayPal.

When you first raised concerns, we arranged a replacement at our own expense without hesitation. The replacement was dispatched on Thursday and delivered on Tuesday — 3 working days. The delivery was refused on the basis that it had taken too long.
Following the return and inspection of the original sleepers, the items were found to be consistent with their specification. The characteristics described are natural features of timber and are not considered defects.
We made every effort to reach a satisfactory outcome throughout this process. In line with our policies, a return fee has been deducted for heavy and bulky items, as the return was not due to a fault on our part. A refund has been issued and a confirmation sent to your email address on file.
We note that this review has been updated several times since it was first posted, with details changing on each occasion. You have asked that our public response be factual; we would ask the same of your review.
We're sorry we were unable to meet your expectations and wish you well with your project.

Absolutely shocking service
Absolutely shocking service, reported delivery didn't arrive, no contact, no follow up. Poor comms from a very poor company. Don't purchase from this company!! Order 1063343841-A through BandQ, even admitted their service was very poor.

Very happy with the reject decking…
Very happy with the reject decking boards from Snowdon Timber. Bought them for my patio and the quality is really good considering they are reject boards. Great price, arrived with no problems just 3 days after ordering. Very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend.
