Had new boiler fitted by them supposed to have free service but no one been in contact to do this and cannot contact them only had this fitted December 24
I think they must have gone into liquidation but not notified anyone
They are a complete rip off firm
They are a complete rip off firm, I had a boiler installed by them in 2020 and everything was fine. They even used to contact me to arrange the annual service which is required by the boiler manufacturers, IDEAL, to validate the warranty. A year ago I had a solar battery storage installed by them, Andrew the managing director said that he would return to set up the charging method. He never did. I tried contacting them regarding the boiler annual service and, was indeed, looking for a further storage battery installation, but to no avail. It would now appear that they have gone into liquidation, yet again. In other words taken the money and run. False two faced people. I wonder if their poor employees have lost out too. No doubt they will be allowed to set up another company under another name

CHEATS
Booked an engineer for a service on my boiler, the day of my appointment they rang to say he had gone home sick i had paid £70 so they said they would rearrange I'm still waiting I'm sure they have shut down as their phones are constantly engaged they knew what they were doing when they asked me for payment upfront.
Poor Service to a regular Customer
I have previously had Snug energy to install and service my boiler for the past 5 years, This year the service engineer came out and serviced the boiler he left and then we went away for 7 days on return the boiler would not heat the central heating, I contacted Kaylee in the office and told them that the service engineer had serviced the boiler and now it was not working!
She said that this was just a coincidence and that they would not send anyone out to check the boiler and that I needed to contact the Manufacturers IDEAL as it was under their warranty,
An IDEAL service engineer came out and found several faults on the boiler and rectified then before leaving the boiler working.
I have tried to contact Snug Energy by phone and email's re my service problems and they have been uncontactable! Not Good enough Snug Energy, I will be looking to get another company to service my boiler in the future.
I have had a system fitted by Snug…
I have had a system fitted by Snug Energy & the installation isn't finished & potentially unsafe so we have turned it fully off & feel we have wasted 12,500 as they have dropped off the face of the earth .
Freephone number -- office number--- emails -- socials are being ignored !!! Feeling very sad & not knowing what to do now z🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁
DO NOT USE
The whole experience was spot on from the start until installation, very quick and clean.
Thats where it ended…. No after care when we contacted the office for advice on the set up…. Zero response, 8 weeks later we’re still waiting for our MCS paperwork
The salesman has been incredibly helpful but unfortunately the owners haven’t!!!
DO NOT USE unless you want to lose your money
Are they still trading
Tried to contact this company to do the yearly service on my boiler. Not answering phones or replying to emails or website query. Where are they? Are they still trading?
Left customers in a mess here, no contact.
Bad Review don’t use this company
Had my boiler fitted by this company 5 years ago and was given a 10 year guarantee for parts and labour, there customer service is none existent they don’t reply to phone calls, e mails or text messages so I have had to pay out £80 to get my boiler fixed don’t trust this company they are a bunch of cowboys
Had a Worcester Boiler installed in…2024
Had a Worcester Boiler installed in October 2024, but when I tried to arrange the annual service, I could not reach out to them at different phone numbers and emails.
Got another Gas Engineer to do the service, and apparently, the pump is not wired to the boiler. Trying to contact Snug without success. Avoid if you don't want to have problems in the future.
EDIT: went to their office and nobody was seen in the last 3 weeks, with plenty of people asking for them. AVOID
Fantastic beginining to end
Really happy with the whole experience. I contacted them after seeing a social media advert. They were responsive, Andrew even made sure we spoke on my lunch break. Once we had agreed a quote and booked the install, I had the system installed 8 days after first contact. The system install is very tidy and it works as expected. I was also really happy with the price, and the team that came and did the install were really knowledgable. I recieved all my paperwork really quickly, and I had my SEG set up within 5 weeks of install (this is really quick apparently talking to other owners).
Top Solar Installers
A very professional and experienced company.
Highly recommend 👌🏻
Avoid this cowboy company at all costs!
Avoid this cowboy company at all costs!
I had a 1.5 hour assessment for solar panels where Anthony carried out my survey. He seemed knowledgeable and competent and also promised the work Snug Energy carry out is of the highest standard. How wrong he was.
The reasons for my claims are as follows:
1. Project Delays and Poor Communication
The installation was quoted as a one-day job. However, it had spanned four days and was still incomplete. At no point was I proactively informed of delays. I had to chase for updates myself whenever their team failed to show up as expected.
They did have some issues with staff sickness and a bereavement (and I have removed those days from the above count, but the issues stemmed prior to these events occurring).
2. Incorrect Solar Panels Installed Without Notification
The panels installed were not those agreed upon in the contract. I identified this discrepancy and contacted Snug Energy, only to be told that the panels agreed in the contract were out of stock—information that was never shared with me beforehand. This lack of transparency raises serious concerns about the company’s honesty and integrity.
3. Inconsistencies Between Survey and On-site Installation
After installation began, the roofers claimed the panels could not be fitted according to the original design, stating that the upper roof tiles could not support the load. This directly contradicts their own pre-installation survey which confirmed that they could. I have since had independent roofing professionals assess the property, in which it was confirmed the roof is structurally sound and suitable for the originally planned configuration. A shortcut by the sub-contractors of Snug Energy.
4. Poor Quality Workmanship
There are visible lips where several panels do not sit flush against the roof surface. This suggests clear workmanship issues, potentially affecting the performance, safety, and durability of the installation. These flaws would not be expected from a professional installation team.
5. Undisclosed Roof Tile Damage
I had discovered, via an independent inspection, that roof tiles were broken during installation. This isn't an issue, however this was not disclosed to me by the team, despite the roofer’s portion of the job being considered complete at this given point in time. This lack of transparency suggests the damage was either ignored or intentionally hidden as it wasn't fixed. If the tile had been damaged prior to work starting, it should have been documented and brought to my attention - a claim the director of the company tried to make!
After all of the above I instructed Snug Energy to return my money and remove all work carried out (which was still unfinished).
As a result there were in fact 5 tiles which turned out to be broken, reinforcing my claims regarding their lies and deceit. Had I not instructed the removal of their goods off my property, these tiles could've caused leaks and issues in my property.
Unfortunately after getting a 3rd party involved to assess my roof there is further damage caused by Snug to my property from their failed install, and they are ignoring my emails to rectify these issues.
This company is the worst company I have ever had to deal with and the director who runs it hasn't a clue about quality, customer service or integrity. Absolute joke of a company and I would avoid at all costs.
P.S I have had a separate DNO done from a different accredited installer, and for a completely identical system they managed to increase my export allowance from the 8kW you could get, to the full 10.5kW capacity of the inverter. Another reason why I would advise anyone looking to get solar to avoid this company.
Snug Solar Installation
Snug were really knowledgable and helpful from the outset. After having several quotes their proposed configuration was the most appealing and cost effective. I was really impressed with how efficient the installation was and how quickly Snug were able to complete the work from quotation. Overall very impressed and so pleased we went with Snug Energy - no regrets at all.

Quick turn around, professional installation
Very quick turn around from agreeing to the Solar panels and batteries to installation. All completed professionally and cleanly. Olu was also great as a mentor for his apprentice on the day. Also a great price, would recommend to anyone else and already have done.
Wow. Installation of solar panels
Wow. What a great experience we had. The installation of 22 solar panels, inverter and battery. Spoke to company on Monday and it was all complete in 10 days. They came and surveryed the property. Scaffolding up one day, panels up the next day and scaffolding down the following day. Kieran and Lee installed the panels and Joe installed the meter, inverter and batteries. The panels look beautiful and the set up looks great. No fuss. No mess. Very very competitive and the best service. Would recommend to anyone thinking about solar panels. We didn’t know much about solar but we do now.
