Whether you're a senior living independently, someone with epilepsy, or someone with Type 1 Diabetes, Snug is a daily check-in so you can feel comfortable and reassured. When you open the Snug app and tap the big green button to check in, you get a friendly and positive quote of the day. And that’s it, you’re done for the day! Every morning, you’ll have the same experience. But if you miss your selected check-in time, you will first get a reminder notification on their smartphone. And if you don’t respond after multiple reminders, their emergency contacts will be notified and given their last known location.

Received Excellent and Multiple Responses to Questions

I'm in the process of using this service, once I see who I can use as an emergency contact. My experience with the customer service has been EXCELLENT. I had a question, so I used the inquiry on the website, and I emailed them. I received a response, within the hour, for both inquiries, and another one when I sent a thank you response. Please don't shy away if you think you won't be able to reach anyone. They do respond - quickly!

Perfect for someone living alone.

I have had snug on my phone, but not exactly sure for how long I've had it; at least over a year or two. Snug is Excellent. I live alone and know that if I do not check in they will contact my designated person, who happens to me my Daughter. I have missed only one check in, and they contacted my family member immediately. You will set a designated time for your check in and if you don't check in they will contact the person that you pick. I have never ever had any issue with Advertising or any other promotions. They are a great Company, that offers a much needed service in secure way, for a person living alone, to feel safer.

Good idea but something wrong

I like the app, but when I needed to make changes to my account, THERE WAS NO MENU. I could not make changes. I called their number, and will re-signup IF THE MENU IS THERE. This failure to display a menu on the upper left of the page as stated (in the questions page) is a total deal breaker. If Snug does not respond to my report, and the menu does not re-appear, I will stay off. Working properly is a MUST!

Too early reminders.

The idea is great. I'm 69 and live alone. The only thing that is very irritating is the checkin process. I have mine set for 11:30 am and it starts beeping at 8:30 until I check the box. I have tried different checkin times and it's the same thing, way to early reminders. 3 hours prior to checkin is just ridiculous. I'm looking for another app to use.

I can't believe how good that app…

I can't believe how good that app works. I forgot to check in and my contact received an inmediate msg
I was so concerned about something happening to me or dying and being found by the smell. This is such a service for people living alone and is free. Thanks!

LifeSaver for you and Pets

I knew someone that died suddenly in their home and wasn't found for a week. SNUG SAFETY app gives me peace of mind. Not about me but knowing my pets wouldn't starve to death. Anyone who lives alone should use it. No one really wants a family member checking on them everyday. SNUG let's you pick the check in time. I chose 3 PM and can check in anytime midnight to 3 PM. It couldn't be easier- just tap the App. Not invasive at all. If I forget, get 2 reminder texts. After that, my friend gets a text. That's the FREE version.

I'm 67 and live along and have a dog, he's my best friend and if i passed away at home, my dog would be alone in the house for days or probably weeks and would starve to death. Snug Safety is perfect for us!

A THOUSAND STARS IF I COULD!!
I’ve been using Snug Safe for a while now, & have been very happy with the app & diligent with checking in daily.
RECENTLY, I’d turned off my phone & forgot to turn it back on, & missed my check-in. I signed up for the paid version for the additional features, but missed their calls to me because my phone was off. WITHIN ABOUT 30 MINUTES of my check in time my emergency contact (who lives about 15 minutes away) was coming into my home to check on me (much to my embarrassment as I’d never missed a check-in)!!!
I can’t sing the praises of Snug Safe enough & how grateful I am to have the app. I’d read the other reviews of people who have had problems & hope you can get those issues resolved, but for me I can say that this app is AWESOME & I’m happy to have it!! Thanks Snug Safe!!!!!

Snug - Poor customer service

I recently signed up with the Snug app. The sign up process was seamless. I opted to do the one daily free check-in. I liked it so much, I paid the $17.99 to be able to have multiple check-ins. You can find adequate instructions how to manage your check-ins. Problem is, I am unable to do it. My “menu” does not have the “manage your check-ins” option. I have sent multiple messages on the app to customer service and multiple emails asking for help. I also left multiple voicemails. Nothing. No response. The correction may be a simple fix but I’ll never know. I will be disputing the charge. A shame because I liked the service.

No longer works.

No longer works.

I used this app for about 3 years. Now it no longer works. Says it can't check you in. There USED to be a number you could call to check in manually, but now that number no longer works. It doesn't even ring - -just disconnects immediately. My phone is a Samsung S24+, so that's not the problem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Snug repeatedly and nothing. So it's uninstalled permanently. Too bad, because it WAS a great app.

It’s Great !

Every process to enroll with Snug Safety was easy and fast. Since enrollment, I’ve have felt a comfort in the security that someone knows I’m fine/okay each day. I also appreciate, that there is no pressure to enroll within the payment plan. Eventually, once I have my affairs in order I do intend to enroll, but please do not pressure me to do so. Thank you !

Great Idea

To be a little macabre, I've been thinking about what if I pass away here at home, and no one calls or looks in on me for days (sometimes they don't). Icky. I've just signed up and I think it will give some peace of mind.

Anyone else find it weird that Snug App…

Anyone else find it weird that Snug App had a handful of positive reviews in 2019, then one or two in 2020 through 2023, and suddenly beginning at the end of 2023 (Nov/Dec) and beginning of 2024 they have like 25 five star reviews? Someone trying to make their app look better than it is perhaps?? I signed up for Snug this weekend (free account), and my “emergency contacts” I put in have yet to receive the notification they were supposed to receive that they have been added (3 days later). I have not yet received a single text from Snug, or any confirmation that I am set up with them, though I have been checking in every day since I signed up three days ago. Tomorrow I will “skip” my check-in to find out: Do they actually text you to remind you? Do they actually contact your emergency contacts? Right now I am fairly dubious, based on the reviews I read and their (lack of) action so far.
