I'd give them a zero star if I could. There was a reasonable rate for a 3-day trial. But when I actually went to sign up, the 3-day trial offer was for an extremely limited service. I was doing r... See more

These people are dispicable.

No matter what you do this mob of disgusting people will not remove your information. I have requested they move my information 3 times now and nothing and it's been weeks. I have even left comments on their post on SM and nothing. I am going to give them one more week then will be seeking legal advice. I have an X that literally has a contract out on my life and if he uses this site to find me and I find out I will come after them and own their homes, IRA's and any investments they have.

This site is a scam

This site is a scam. I tried it. I even sunk in £12 just to test it.

I started off with the free stuff, I sent in the details. It said: 62 results!
"Wow it works! Lets get my report..."

PAY SUBSCRIPTION.
"ugh fine I will pay it, Okay now lets get my results"
PAY FOR SOCIAL SEARCH
"right wtf? I just paid for that"
NOPE, YOU PAID FOR IMAGE SEARCH
"Fine fk it give me that too."
0 Results!
I literally searched the same thing and nope! This pile of shit lied just for money.

The service to check on my information and absolutely none of the information on the platform was correct. I’m not sure what services the company uses to gather its information but it was of no benefit at all

A Scam to get you to Subscribe

I tried their 'Free' photo ID service and got NO RESULTS. I uploaded a clear picture with a plain background and waited the 5 minutes (you have to keep their 'subscription sign up' window open or the 5-minute clock stops). After the wait it said I needed to go to the 'Next Step', but there was no link to a 'Next Step'. 5-minutes wasted, but at least now I know not to trust socialcatfish.com.

Was unable to unsubscribe, charged for a month, wrote an email and they said they responded but they did not

Tried to cancel before my 3 day trial (because none of the image search was accurate) was up but it didn't let me for some mysterious reason, was still charged for a full month, wrote them that it wouldn't let me unsubscribe and that I wasn't going to use the product until it was refunded, they never responded, called today and they tried to indicate that they did respond (they didn't, and then they backtracked), nevertheless no refund still. Not a scrupulous company, they are ethically trying to catfish YOU and any data you give them they can use against you. DO NOT TRUST.

The biggest waste of time and money

The biggest waste of time and money. I started with the free trial and after liking the site, I upgraded to premium for another $50 after my payment went through. Yes, I could do no searches at all. It would not let me even hit inner. He contacted customer service. They said it was a glitch, and they added my token to back on. Ran the report I was trying to refront, and it said dangerous criminal activity. So I added another 10.99 in addons to run the criminal background. I loads and says great news no records found on the same person who ive been running random reports on for years they've got atleast 10 arrest that ive documented. So back to customer service show a screenshot to prove this information is false id like my money back. It's literally been maybe 20 minutes. They have refused to fix anything give even 1 cent back to me and ive invested around $95 at this point. Uses another site they dont deep dive at all they use public info you can get for free. Use another sitevScam!!

I provided a photo

I provided a photo, clear facial shot, no hat, no glasses. Unfortunately the site couldn’t find anything related to this person nor could it find the person‘s username or Instagram even after providing the name on the website. The website states you can request a refund if you weren’t able to obtain the information that you needed. I called to inform them I wasn’t able to find anything and I would appreciate the refund but they said that they weren’t able to give me a refund but they would give me “credit points” which I explained it’s not needed. I only wanted to find information on one person, to find out if it’s even a real person. Someone reached out to me and said my fiancé had cheated and that she has proof then just disappeared?? This seemed like a complete waste of money. Don’t do it.

Very scammy and low quality reports

Very scammy and low quality reports. Pay to search a name, oh, you want to search for images too? Pay another subscription; all the subscriptions get renewed automatically. For sure you don't want to subscribe for dozens of dollars per month? You cancel your subscriptions, and you immediately can't use the service anymore. A total waste of time that plays on your emotions and make you think it will find tons of interesting things while it's just playing on FOMO to substract money from your account. Don't use it; there are better services out there for image search of name search... you know, real search engines are just better.

Hello from MI

Hello from MI! A few weeks ago, I noticed a really cute guy follow me on my Instagram. When I followed him back, he invited me to continue conversing with him on Telegram. Immediately, he sent me a couple pics that looked like they were sent in real time, like from the contract work he has as a Civil Engineer. These pics matched the pic of the guy on IG, except that found it weird he had hundreds of followers on IG but yet, no pics. But he was cute, was around my
age (which is difficult for me to find even on dating sites!) Noticed right off the bat that his English would be on-point one minute and then, off, the next. Found it weird that someone who's educated, cultured, & well-traveled would mis-spell quite a lot. But I was in love with the pics he sent me so I felt like I was talking to the Guy in the Pic! This scammer called me Babe, love-bombed me every day then he'd get mad knowing that I have a lot of male admirers. He had this Passive-aggressive behavior 3 times in the 10 days we messaged on Telegram. Every time I asked to call him or do a video chat so I can put a voice to the face, he evaded the subject and accused me of not being that into him. The 3rd time he got angry with me, I decided to a reverse-image-search on Google. Complete fail. Went to Truthfinder. Failed. Beenverified. Failed. Then tried Socialcatfish and the first thing I did was a reverse-image-search and turns out the scammer stole pics of this handsome European guy and pretended to be him. This poor man's likeness was stolen so many times, that he had a different name & age for every dating site that he was on. I immediately went on Telegram and called this scammer out on this, plus other inconsistencies & discrepancies I've noticed all throughout our conversations. One, was he claimed to be working in Denmark, but his Telegram number started with a +234 country code-- for Nigeria. He immediately ERASED all the evidence I threw in his face, and apologized. He said he wanted to give me a "better explanation" for his actions. Told him there's no better explanation bec his actions to deceive me right from the start, spoke more loudly than any words that would ever leave his lips. Told him I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT FOR MEN LIKE YOU, and blocked him on Telegram. He resurfaced later that day on IG, again, apologizing & trying to explain himself, but I blocked him AGAIN. Thank God, I don't have a lot of social media accounts. Was so very fortunate that I was able to find all this out using your tools before the scammer started asking for money-- which I would NOT have sent anyway. This whole experience cemented my decision to just stay local when dating.
I watch your Scamfish show regularly now to remind myself how fortunate I am to have had these tools available to me when I needed them. THANK YOU, SOCIAL CATFISH AND KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! GET THESE SCAMMERS OFF THE INTERNET!

Cat fish is right,

Cat fish is right,
This is a complete scam. They couldn’t even get his race, age, or name right after I repeatedly corrected there search platform. Then they refused to issue a refund claiming it cost money to suck at their job.

Scam

Scam, don’t fall for this.
I didn’t use them but they sent me an email like someone is using my email for their services and has paid for their membership. Once I forwarded an email to them notifying that something is wrong, they asked me to provide my personal details. So they are phishing.

over al its a great site

over al its a great site. love it. only reason why only 4 stars is because the image search and name look up are 2 separate plans so you have to purchase each plan separately. Which can in my opinion be a bit to pricey. otherwise i wouldve given 5 stars
