Been trying to return a knife purchased for a week now with no response from company. Will never order direct from them again

Ordered this for all my MTB and outdoor adventures, its all the military grade bag you'll ever need with so many compartments and still finding more cubby holes even now!!! Its well built, arrived fast safe and secure, brand new, tags, lovely backpack and my mates are envious. Highly recommended regardless if you are military or not. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Extremely Disappointed – Avoid SOG at All Costs

As a professional knife designer and senior wilderness survival instructor, I expected far more from a company like SOG. I purchased the SOG Seal XR, which is not a cheap knife by any means, and after just a year of careful use, the blade developed microfractures.

I followed their warranty instructions and sent the knife back to the U.S. for a replacement or repair — never received a response, the knife disappeared, and SOG completely stopped replying to emails. It’s been months of silence.

The knife is gone, and so is any respect I had for this brand. Their customer service is utterly unprofessional and disorganized. I strongly advise anyone considering SOG products to rethink and invest in brands that stand behind their tools and their users.

This kind of treatment is unacceptable — especially for professionals who depend on their gear.

Customer service is non existent. I finally reached a customer service agent who didn’t have a clue about their products. Then stopped responding to my inquiries.
My mariner knife broke due to an obvious manufacturers defect. Rep offered me a 20% off coupon. I just wanted mine repaired or replaced. He then offered me some knife that was absolutely nothing like the mariner. He was clueless. I’ve since tried contacting customer service with my issue. They have not responded to 4 different emails.

I bought a SOG crosscut back in the late 90s. It's been an amazing knife/scissor. I have carried it with me every day since then. (Except on flights of course.) It's always maintained its sharpness. The 2 tiny figure 8 metal wire scales that keep the tension broke several months ago, first one, then the other, and I've been kinda living with it. But as SOG has a lifetime guarantee, I thought, well might as well have them fix it. At some point they discontinued the Crosscut and as such they no longer honor their lifetime guarantee. All they would need to do is replace the broken parts, but they refuse to do it, nor respond to me emails to try to find a solution (mail me the replacement parts etc). I wouldn't trust this company to honor their products' guarantees. This is a great product, but the horrible service and lies about lifetime guarantee will make me shop elsewhere. Too bad for me.

SOG has the worst customer support I've ever experienced. I ordered an item on Monday figuring I would get it before black Friday. It won't be here until Tuesday of the following week. The same item I purchased was on sale for 20% off starting on Wednesday. I could've waited a couple days and got the discount, especially since it apparently takes a whole week to ship an item less than 50 miles. I wouldn't be here giving them a bad review had the item arrived BEFORE their sale. These douche bags don't answer email at all, they just don't care. I wouldn't buy from them ever again, hopefully the item is in good condition, otherwise I have to contact my credit card company to get a chargeback. Read their return policy before ordering. Probably give the item away at Christmas because I don't want to wear anything with their name billboarded on it.

Love this pack!! Zippers are quality, seams are well done.. quality product.
