It is always a pleasure coming back to try Sohini’s genius culinary creations. The indo Chinese menu took me right back to the bustling streets of Kolkata trying delicious combinations of sweet and spicy and tangy which Sohini has so generously put together with so much thought and intention. A personal highlight for me was the hand pulled noodles- apparently this was the first time Sohini has made them and they were such a smashing hit! I will definitely come back for now and heavily recommend this supperclub for anyone who wants a slice of Bengal in an authentic Bengali home setting with food that will make you so happy before you go to bed.

I was invited to celebrate Bengali New Year at Sohini's supper club by a friend. It was wonderful to be invited to her home and enjoy her amazing food. Sohini and her partner are so knowledgeable about ingredients and produce. Their passion for sharing food and culture was very inspiring. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was absolutely amazing! One of the best experiences in London. The way Sohini and Rijul shared stories and their experiences about Kolkata, Bengali food and everything was really memorable. A must visit absolutely!

This supper club felt like stepping inside Kolkata’s busy streets and crowded homes. If Satyajit Ray’s films were a food they would be the 5 courses we enjoyed yesterday evening. The warmth and eloquence with which Rijul guided us throughout the meal was exceptional. Sohini’s love in every bite was palpable, and together they made for a night to remember. I came down to one of Sohini’s beautiful dinner party and honestly had one of the best evenings to date the food, the vibes and company were honestly immaculate vibes! I highly recommend this event and it’s a culinary experience!

Sohini and Rijul are super warm and welcoming hosts. The food is lovely and tastes like home, while being quite inventive and creative. They also explain the cultural context of the dishes - shining a light on a cuisine that is quite difficult to find in restaurants in London. Plus their apartment is really cute!

Sohini is a fantastic chef and an ever better supper club host. The experience is full of amazing food and every dish comes with it's own story and you can't help but feel part of her journey. Rich in flavour and passion this is a must try if you are even remotely interested in a home style, authentic (and delicious) fine dining experience for all.

Both her and her husband are super welcoming and kind and make you feel like you've known them for all your life by welcoming you to their home and being the most accommodating.

Since moving to London two years ago, I've been to about six or seven of Sohini's supperclubs. It's always a wonderful experience - the food, music, adda and warmth transport me straight back home. I love how she celebrates the simple Bangali home food I've grown up eating and elevates it with elements from other cuisines and dishes that leave you delighted! I've done a happy little dance every time I've had a plate of her food. Sohini is also one of the loveliest people I've had the pleasure of knowing and would encourage anyone who has the opportunity to meet and be fed by her, not to miss it!
