Solar Sherpa have been really helpful in our decisions regarding having solar energy. The emails have been informative yet not lengthy or full of technical jargon. Though we didn’t go with one of the initial recommendations we were able to use the info solar sherpa gave us to expand our search to an installer who meet all our needs. Solar Sherpa is certainly the best place to start your Solar Energy journey.

Independent advice when it was needed most, there were too many sponsored adverts on any google search. Solar Sherpa's advice was spot on for me and I followed most of it obtaining at least five quotes from a variety of installers from Local to National only one of which was recommended by Solar Sherpa. Its worth speaking to some of the installers, ask questions, and you will gain knowledge, it's a cumulative process, the more you learn, the more you can focus your questions! The initial emails on the 5 mistakes to avoid were useful.

Terribly disappointing, Sherpa are a low rank Aggrigator, posing as having some knowledge in the field of solar energy. I felt conned after dealing with them and none of the companies they recommended were at all appropriate for our needs. I imagine Sherpa were just in it for the commission. Don't waste your time and money with these people.

The advice given was useful and allowed me to make an informed decision regarding getting solar and a battery.

I went with Amore Solar, one of the recommended companies, who were very good.

Very helpful advice if you're considering solar panels. Alex gave honest and well-researched information and contacts with three accredited and checked installers. Amusing and informative follow-up emails. No sales pressure whatsoever. An excellent overview of the solar panel market, which can be confusing. Rather laddish tone to emails, which I found amusing. Very good communication throughout. Recommend contacting Solar Sherpas if you're thinking about a solar energy system at home.

The pace of response and then the ongoing sharing of helpful information was impressive.

I'm not sure where we first found Solar Sherpas, but we're very glad that we did, as finding the right Solar Installers is a minefield.

Alex & Gustav's emails led us through the thought processes to really think about what our set-up should look like and what we actually needed for our house, not what some installers might try to sell us.

From some basic data input they considered our location and likely need, to recommend three local/regional/national installers that had already been 'vetted' for the basic, but key checks, so that we didn't have to.

Including a few others that we chose to speak to, it's perhaps no surprise that our 'short-listed' installers were 2 of these 3.

Our selected installer (Amore Renewables) has been great and worked to give us options and explain everything. Having Alex & Gustav's advice enabled us to ask the right questions and query some of the initial "what you need" - which we did get from certain installers!

Don't even think about contacting installers until you've signed-up to Solar Sherpas' advice.

I contacted Solar Sherpa and received two recommended installers in my area . Both proved responsive and I have since ordered from one of their recommendations - an experienced company I am unlikely to have found without Solar Sherpa. All my contacts with Solar Sherpa have been helpful an responsive an dtheu provide a series f email guides to help with deciding which system and installer suits best.

Yes, they can connect you to reliable suppliers in your area but it's the additional support that's so much more valuable. It gives you the questions and knowledge to help grill these solar suppliers.

Alex even reviewed my spreadsheet that contained all my quotes including ones that had nothing to do with Solar Sherpa. His insight has been invaluable in helping us pick the right solar solution for us.
