Solar staff - Loss of money

Our experience with this company is a lot of time spent and loss of funds in the amount of the payment ($ 4,000). It is extremely unpleasant to deal with such a company. We wanted to use this service to send a payment to contractor(s) for services rendered. We sent money using the details Solar staff provided to us. The money was sent by us (and we provided all the confirmations that Solar staff asked us), the bank details were specified correctly by our company (which was confirmed by a support employee), our bank (whose services we have used for many years and which has an international reliable reputation) processed the payment and indicated that the money was delivered to the recipient, but Solar staff said that they did not receive it. At the same time, a Solar staff support employee then said that on the days when the payment was sent, the Solar staff company's bank changed its correspondent bank. And that is probably why the payment was not received by them. And that it should be returned to us. But it was not returned to us. Approximately two years have passed, and the payment has not been returned to us. And this was as much as 4,000 USD. We feel disappointed from using Solar staff service. At the same time, when the Solar staff service asked us to provide confirmations of the payment, we requested them from our bank and even several times provided them. But when our bank asked the Solar staff service for confirmation that they had not received the payment, they refused to provide a statement. Also, when our bank asked the Solar staff to contact their correspondent bank to find out if they had this payment, the Solar staff service also refused to do this. In summary: there was a lack of customer focus. The support service did not take the client's side.

The Solar staff bank changed its correspondent bank, and the losses from this, apparently, in their opinion, are normal, if the client incurred in 100% of the amount of the payment to them?((( In the amount of 4,000 USD.
And they, for their part, did not try to figure out where the payment was stuck at the correspondent bank. Since we did not receive any assistance from Solar staff in this matter, we ourselves tried to find and contact their correspondent bank(s) to find the lost payment. But we were told that since we were not their bank's clients, their correspondent bank could not provide us with any information. And the bank's clients - Solar staff - did not interact with their correspondent bank and did not tried from their side to find the payment that was sent to their service using the details they provided. We spent our time and provided confirmation of the payment several times, but the company seemed interested not in finding it, but only in requesting something from the client. Because when action was needed from Solar Staff, Solar staff did not communicate with their correspondent bank. And they did not compensate the client for the damage incurred. They only offered to compensate the bank commission. But it is about $20, and the amount of the lost payment sent to Solar Staff was 4,000. As a result: because of sending the payment to Solar staff, the company lost funds in the amount of the payment.((((

Unreliable and inefficient

I am a new user, I've been using Solar Staff/Mellow for just two months. I've lost my money two times during that time (and still struggling to get it back).
Some basic features don't work as stable as they should (like top up!). Useless and slow client support.
Don't waste your time and money on them, choose alternatives.

Solarstaff for freelancing work

I use Solarstaff for my freelancing work and I´m so super satisfied with the app. The service is outstanding. They react immediately (and yes, it´s real people, not an AI chat assistant). I had a little problem with a money withdrawal that my bank rejected. Solar staff immediately answered all my questions and kept me updated on the issue. No costs for a rejected withdrawal, so as soon as you get the refund back into your account, you can withdraw it again. Plus I´m so impressed how fast the withdrawals are. My money is in my bank account or on my credit card in a few seconds. It never took longer. Great app!

I’ve been using Solar Staff as a freelancer for about half a year, and I love the quality of their customer support. This is actually the reason why I’m writing this review. One of my clients, a US entity, faced some difficulties trying to top up their account for the first time, but my experience was usually quite good. The UX of the offer functionality isn’t perfect, but the support outweighs that.
