Failure to carry out full bird brush fittment.
In Oct 25 we had solar panels fitted. April this year we were inundated with pigeons nesting and roosting under the outer panels. Solar say they fitted a "bird brush", there is what looks like lengths of bottle brushes rammed right up under the panels, but so far there is a 1ft to 2ft ledge for the birds to shelter. The mess and noise id awful/ Solar is not now answering my emails or phone calls. They did promise to visit me but no one turned up. I am now taking legal advice about their so called guarantee. I'm stuck with a roof full of pigeons. A DAY LATER;- Well, social media works! Solar telephoned me and have promised to attend to my problem, they say they are very sorry and hopefully will cure the pigeon problem.

I Previously looked into solar and did the research and how much it would save me over the year , i contacted a few companys and Wickes Solar was the better choice from my research .
they talked me over the installation and set a date , and it went as planned with a good install .
its been 5 months now and my energy bills have dropped better than i could have imagined.
the service, staff and Customer service was all good and replyed promptly with all of my questions and querys

Very pleased
We were very pleased with the professionalism of the Wickes team. They clearly explained the process from design to post installation follow up and carried out the work on time and to the quoted price. Access to our roof is tricky because of conservatory completely spanning the south facing roof. In fact we had asked for a quotation a few years ago from another company and they had turned down the job after seeing the site so we were well pleased with Wickes finding a way to do it at no additional cost. The work was done in a day and everything left neat and tidy.

Really pleased with the service from Wickes Solar once again. We recently decided to add an extra battery to our system ahead of the summer and with energy prices looking like they’ll continue to rise.
Jonny came out to complete the installation and was brilliant from start to finish. Friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. The install was tidy, professional and completed without any issues.
The extra storage is already making a noticeable difference and helping us get even more from the system. Very happy we made the decision and the overall experience with Wickes Solar has been excellent throughout.

Solar system installation to family home
I had been thinking of installing a solar panel system at my home for quite a while and had researched different systems. After weighing up the pros and cons I decided to approach solar fast . From the very 1st contact the level of professionalism was exemplary , in our 1st meeting we talked in depth about what I wanted from the system . We talked through the technicalities of what the system could deliver and how it would best suit my family household. I feel at every point in the consultation my needs and wants were put above a company need to ‘just sell a product’ .
Once I had agreed on the best fit for me I found it very easy to upload the information required to book an installation . I found the communication from the company to be excellent , nothing was too much trouble and any concerns were addressed immediately.
When the installation day came round I felt really well informed of what to expect from the team , and especially how the installation process and aftercare worked .
The installation went as smoothly as expected and the team stopped at per-tenant points throughout to explain the system as it was being installed which I found worked well.
On completion of the installation the system was set up with myself in attendance to ensure I understood how to alter things as and when required.
I have had the system for 11 months and it has performed exactly how the company said it would . I have seen a 50% reduction on my electricity bill which is a little better than I originally thought . The aftercare has also been great , I have received several calls from solar fast just to ensure that I had no issues or concerns and I was happy with the system performance. I have recommended the company to all family and friends who have expressed an interest in installing a solar system to their homes or businesses.

From the very beginning, the communication was top-notch. My sales rep, Scott, did a fantastic job—he was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain everything to me clearly, making sure I understood all my options without any pressure.
When it came to scheduling, Jordan was brilliant and extremely helpful in arranging an installation date that worked perfectly around my schedule.
