Solargain was very thorough in their explanations and documentation for the installation of a home PV system. The price was decent, and the installers themselves were very professional, friendly, and did a great job.

They went beyond other companies on the quote looting at overhead shots in winter when the sun is lower and suggested to have a tree removed before winter. Looked where was the best place to mount the control unit. Then the guys that rocked up for the install did a fast and as an electrician myself what I could see was a neat high quality install.

I was dead keen to add to my solar & battery that I already have so I asked solargain to come and quote me. So very nice gentleman came from Taunton how turned out to be the boss, well he listened to me looked at what I have, and told me it really wouldn't be worth me doing it he could put in extra for me the return even with another battery
Would not warrant my financial outlay how many companies would just want to sell you £8,000 worth and not be honest and tell you basically don't waste your money. I only wish I spend some money with this company I feel confident you would get a good job and not get taken for a ride I can't say any more just I am convinced he is an honest man.

The experience was very good. Smooth and extremely easy. James came out to disscuss and quote. He is easy to deal with and not full of the usual sales BS. Upfront and honest. The install guys turned up on time, where quick and tidy. Chose solar gain over the usual cold call guys due to the good reviews and the security of a long standing company that wint disappear on you if warranty work is required.

The sales rep was lovely, very knowledgeable no pressure. The service techs were also really lovely, considerate and did a great job with the installation. I did end up getting a system that is battery compatible and didn't realise Solargain owns the battery company. I'm sure its an awesome company but would have been nice to know as i think it could limit the battery options as they are the main supplier from what i can tell. Either way the batteries for their IStore system seem to be fairly affordable compared with other systems, just would have been good to know as i might have researched this a little more.
