Solar Panel Protect - Solar Panel Bird Protection Reviews

I cannot recommend Rory highly enough.
An absolute professional who clearly takes great pride in his work. At all stages he kept me fully informed of what he would do, how he would do it and the materials he would be using. No scaffolding was required, and he worked diligently and tidily. The quality of the finished product is excellent - as he promised, the pigeons are gone; he "gave us our house back".
As others have said, he is also a really interesting guy to talk to - we even got on to philosophical side of pest control! Thank you very much.

Fantastically efficient and great product,

Came when he said he would.
Worked through a rain storm.
Lovely job done.
Very pleasant man.

Absolutely spot on, start to finish. Punctual, professional and polite, Rory clearly also takes great pride in his work. I consider myself very lucky indeed to have found Rory, and Solar Panel Protect via the wonders of the internet. He was happy to talk through how he'd be working, the equipment and fixings he would be using, and the icing on the cake was that he was able to complete our job without scaffolding, which was an absolute bonus from my perspective.
A thorough job completed, with no faff, and no mess left whatsoever. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Rory wholeheartedly.
(He happens to be a really interesting chap to talk to as well!)

Rory was punctual, very knowledgable and he did a very good job sorting out our pigeon problem without us having to organise scaffolding at an extra cost,

Rory is professional and helpful. We are very happy with his work. He arrived on time and did a fantastic job.

If you have a problem with pigeons under solar panels then Rory provides a great service at a very reasonable price. He was very clear on how the birds would be handled according to the pest control regulations. He completed the job ahead of time and left the panels, gutters and surrounding work area very clean and tidy. Overall we were very pleased with the result and would definitely recommend Rory in the future.

I was impressed from our initial phone conversation and could tell that Rory was a true professional. The price quoted was extremely competitive and we decided to go ahead with bird protection for our relatively new solar panels, that had now become home to some unwanted pigeons!
Rory has now completed the work and we are exceptionally pleased. The advantage of using Rory, is that he is an expert climber, and carried out the work with ladders, ropes and harnesses so scaffolding isn't necessary, helping to keep the cost down significantly!! He is a true gent and extremely knowledgeable, and I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending his company. Thanks for your help Rory!

A neighbour contacted Rory about her newly installed panels to install pigeon guards. He was also fortunately able to assist me at the same time as i had 4 unprotected panels at the front of my house where the pigeons had set up home.
I was very impressed with Rory's professionalism, his knowledge and expertise. He even gave me a detailed account of the life cycle of pigeon and his view about a new breed of pigeons which are learning to adapt to life underneath the panels!!
I was extremely happy with the service and the guards which are proving to be very effective.
I would recommend Rory unreservedly.

We had trouble with doves nesting under our 14 solar panels. Although lovely birds they can damage the cables under the panels and they also made a lot of mess on our patio. I chose Rory to put mesh around the panels as he had very good reviews and his quote was very competitive. I was not disappointed as he did an excellent job. He came on the agreed day and time. He put the mesh using ladders and harnesses, so no need for expensive scaffolding. He is very knowledgeable about the birds and explained what he was doing step by step. He also cleaned the gutters which were very dirty. His work comes with a 10 year guarantee which is a bonus. I thoroughly recommend Rory to anyone who need their solar panels protected. In addition he is also a very polite and pleasant man.

Really impressed with the clear explanation of work that would be done, and then how it was carefully undertaken. The area was cleaned up, including the gutters. The mesh barely shows and blends in perfectly with the panels. Very pleased with the result.

I hired Rory after going through multiple quotes from roofing company, that supposed to "specialise" in installing solar panel bird mesh.

The roofers although quoted me similar price, they didn't have the expertise (seen from their images sent related to their previous mesh installation) or the know-how in safely removing pigeon/bird nest.

Overall, his photos in comparison to others installers, fit my expectations in how a bird mesh should look like installed on a solar panel.

Rory seemed knowledgeable and well researched the in safely removing pigeon nest and general bird habits.

I have also hired Rory to install some bird mesh on my 5th floor balcony, where pigeon had made it habitat.

He also didn't mind me chatting about while he was working, he seemed to be able to give attention to his work and make small chat as well. Really friendly and passionate about every detailed of his work.

His work is his pride, an art and it shows from the materials and the time taken in researching how netting is installed compared to others, how to secure and make sure his install will not need a callback in the future.

Keep up the good work!

Rory has a passion for his bird protection work. He was helpful and professional and a week later the pigeons are no longer sitting on my roof as they cannot nest.

Rory did such a great job. He was friendly and professional and was fantastic working on the roof using just ladders and harnesses. He even managed to work calmly around a wasps nest, and his expertise and quality products leave us comfortable knowing that the pigeons won't be able to interfere with the solar panels anymore. We couldn't recommend him more.

From the outset, dealing with Rory was a positive experience. He visited within a few days of initial contact to provide a quote as he wasn’t convinced what the requirements were from the photos provided. Not something anyone else has done. The quote for his part of the job was the cheapest I have come across and even the requirement for scaffolding still kept it well under that quoted by others. He was open and honest about the work, licences and access requirements. He talked through the different materials used and showed a real passion for his work. Rory went above and beyond, when completing the bird-proofing, cleaning the gutters, fixing a broken gutter and highlighting work needed on the garage roof that I hadn’t noticed. All work was completed within a week and I couldn’t be happier. Rory is highly recommended.

He answered my call. He came to the house and gave excellent advice without any pressure and his quote was prompt and acceptable. He arrived on time did a neat and tidy job in a timely manner and was careful to explain each step. It was a good price no scaffolding needed and the pigeons have moved on and my solar panels are working to full capacity again...very happy.

Rory promptly gave an estimate after my initial telephone contact. He turned up promptly, did the job cleanly and thoroughly and without a fuss. He was friendly and helpful and gave excellent advice. He explained everything he was going to do and what he had done. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone with a pigeon pest menace, as we have been plagued by them for months nesting under our solar panels.

I had solar panels installed a few months ago and hadn’t gotten around having the bird protection put on. I was reminded when someone came to my door offering to do it. I don’t like buying services on the doorstep so I did some searches and came across Rory. Rory’s reviews were by far the best, so I reached out. Rory sent pictures of his previous work, as well as some excellent examples of others bad work. He took the time to explain what he does, how he could help me and how his work is carried out. We agreed on colour etc and I quickly received a quote. On the day of installation he arrived on time, talked through what he would be doing and then I left him to it. He worked quickly, quietly and safely and showed me the final installation before he left. Rory was very clear around his aftercare and guarantee for his work, which was very comforting. I am so pleased that I found his company.

So glad we chose this gentleman to solve our problem of pigeons under the panels. Knowledgeable, informative and a pleasure to have around, and did a great job! Many thanks Rory
