Material is kind, workmanship is excellent.
So far I'm buying two kinds of clothing from you - the pieces that are for polite company, and the shirts that are for work.
Two requests for work shirts for me; include an off-color stitch on the inside rear neck for easy front/back identification - the inks fade after washings. Double stitch the arm holes on my work t-shirts, I'm starting to wear them out.

Thank you for your review, Judith! Note taken on the double stitch. If you look at the neckline on the inside of the t-shirt, you will see that the back has an extra layer of ribbed fabric, called “neck tape,” which provides extra support. Hopefully this will help you identify the front and back easier.

fit is as expected. colors are a bit more muted than shown, but that is my preference. the fabric feels substantial and soft. i am very happy with my three t shirts.

I appreciate Solid State's transparency…
I appreciate Solid State's transparency around their material sourcing and supply chains. I bought my husband some of their t-shirts a few years ago and they've held up better than any other t-shirt we've bought.
As far as my experience with this specific transaction, everything went smoothly and arrived as advertised.

Shirt didn't seem to hold up
Shirt seemed to be of good quality. Wore it 3-4 times and laundered it 4-5 times. My wife just noticed 2 holes in the right armpit. Seems quite too soon for there to be holes in the shirt.

Hi Zach! I am sorry to hear your t-shirt got holes in it after a few wears. Early 2024, we got sent a batch of t-shirts that had this issue. All our t-shirts go through an intense wash at our dye house, and usually, if there are any defects, they will show up after this step. However, we only started finding out about the issue when customers began reporting holes after a few washes/wears. We immediately alerted our cut and sew to ensure the issue would not happen again.
