Wasn't sure about Solassa at first. Reminded me a bit of Cinzano back in the day...probably those herby notes of mint/basil and unusual blend of citrus sweet and savoury. I found it grew on me very quickly after trying with home cooked Thai and Indian food. Mixes well with Fevertree Mediterranean and Original in aperitifs. Highly recommend. Mine's all gone and Solassa will definitely be a repeat purchase for me.

Saw the review on Alan Titchmarsh on fb and thought that sounds interesting so ordered a bottle. Glad I did
It's lush I have mine over ice with fever tree elderflower tonic which seems to boost the spicy orange of the cardamon and green of the coriander. Being 20% its light enough to enjoy more than 1 without feeling guilty.

I first heard of Sollasa on the Alan Titchmarsh programme ‘Love Your Weekend’ and thought it sounded delicious, different and a perfect special gift for my friends. I found the company just days before Christmas and ordered a bottle directly from them. Even at such a challenging time they were excellent at dealing with my enquiries and arranged lightning speed inclusive next day delivery. My friends are delighted with their gift. It’s a wee bit expensive for me to try personally, even with the discount that was kindly offered for this first purchase, but this is new company, a luxury new item on the market, and it was for a special gift. They were lovely to deal with and I was so impressed to receive a personal response to my enquiry from Vishal, one of the two founding brothers who created this beautiful drink. They deserve every credit and success.

The item was well packaged in environmentally friendly packaging and in great condition, although it arrived after Christmas. I have not tasted it as it was a gift for someone. However, I saw it tasted on Love Your Weekend and so have every confidence that it will be enjoyed

I first heard about Sollasa on Alan Titchmarsh’ programme - not something that I usually watch but I’m so glad I did! I’ve bought two bottles so far, one for me and one for my friend that I wanted sent as a present (without receipt). Vishal replied to my email almost straight away and sorted out my request with no fuss. Great customer service! Oh, and a great drink too - perfect with curry but I think it’ll be great in the summer too. I’ll definitely be buying it again.

Bought 2 bottles as gifts … delivered in box with NO wrapping just address label stuck on box .. delivery person pushed them under the gate in the rain … 2 problems firstly gifts box is muddy and looks awful and secondly has our address label, etc on and difficult to remove 😬😔

Sorry not sure how to respond to Sollasa so I’ll do it here … I was NOT expecting ‘gift wrap/wrapping’ but was expecting the outer box the bottle comes in to be in brown box or similar as it is the box it has to stay in as the inner packaging is not a BOX … I find the response from Sollasa very curt and quite off-hand … hope the taste of the Gin is sweeter than Sollasa response …

Interesting and very tasty

I saw the TV review a few weeks ago. I was intrigued by how pleasantly surprised the hosts were when they tasted Sollasa. I had to get in on the action. It is a lovely accompaniment to any meal. This is the first time I was able to have an alcoholic drink with my Indian meal and it enhanced my meal. It didn’t feel like chalk and cheese, instead Sollasa married the flavours of spices in my meal. It went nicely with mexican food, and even complimented my cheeseboard! Genuinely love the low alcohol content, the fresh fruity taste and vibrant flavours. Also helps to have a Beautiful looking bottle to sit out and just let it catch peoples eye. Try it with a slice of grapefruit and a fresh coriander leaf. The only thing I’m not happy about is ordering only 2 bottles with my welcome code!

I saw Sollasa in a TV feature and decided to give it a try. The Sollasa website showed it as being out of stock but when I contacted customer services to enquire on when it would be available, I received a prompt reply advising that this was a temporary glitch and it was in fact in stock. I placed my order and my first ever bottle arrived within a few days. I have tried it for the first time this evening and have to say that I was impressed. The taste is very citrus forward with a prominent mint taste too. I tried Sollasa over ice and mixed with Indian tonic water - it reminded me of a mojito but with a quinine kick like a G&T. I'm keen to try some different cocktail recipes from the website but I imagine that Sollasa will be a perfect drink for a hot summer's day - Friday night after a hard week at work....... roll on summer!
