Overall experience was fast and efficient. The salesperson was able to answer all my questions. My order was delivered as promised.

We installed Solus concrete tiles as a fireplace surround in our new home. We couldn't be happier with the product's clean, modern look. Ordering was easy, delivery was on time and the tiles arrived safe and sound in protective crating.

Solus produces top quality firepits, and if you are lucky enough to find one you like at their annual 'scratch and dent' sale, the price too will be a bargain. Great customer service from the sales room to delivery to invoicing.

we purchased a solus firepit as part of a larger deck renovation and outdoor kitchen project. The sales staff was highly knowledgeable and the company was easy to deal with. Our renovation project was delayed nearly 6 months and the company showed us flexibility which was highly appreciated given the weight and size of the product we did not want to take delivery any earlier than necessary. Unfortunately, we have yet to use the product as the weather has turned considerably .. we hope that everything will work as promised. The only thing I would mention is that we paid up for extra men to help place the product and thank goodness our renovation contractors were onsite as they crew sent by Solus would not have been able to move the product otherwise.

We purchased our first firebowl in 2012. We found the quality of the product and the service provided to be excellent. We ordered a second for our winter home in California later that year. It was shipped to us and arrived professionally packed and ready for service. Unfortunately, it was the wrong colour but Solus very quickly shipped us the correct tone at their expense. We have thoroughly ejoyed our firebowls and both have been absolutely trouble free. I have no hesitation in recommending both the company and the product.

I would not hesitate to buy a fire bowl from Solus again. The people there were very helpful and so easy to work with. The bowls themselves are simply beautiful.

We came in to look, but Solus was having a fantastic sale, so we bought on the spot. No pressure, just really good service from both sales and the production manager. We were a tiny bit disappointed in how long it took to be delivered, as the nice weather ended just before delivery. But our firepit is installed and beautiful and we could be happier. Definitely looking forward to enjoying our firepit come next spring/summer!

We're very happy with our experience with Solus and the installation. They supply a premium product that is well worth paying a bit more for. The customer service from the first "drop by" the studio, to the design and installation of the final product was stress free. These people love their product and it's contagious! If you are interested in an outdoor fire pit that is unique and functional, I would strongly urge you to check out the Solar Decor website. The product was delivered in a timely fashion and the service was easy to deal with.

Our fire pit is the coolest design in Austin, Texas. It is the show stopper on our new deck. It is the place on our deck our friends want to hang out for the evening.

Hi, I have only had the Solus bowl on during two occasions. it was enjoyable but because I bought it so late in the summer season I have really not had much time to appreciate and enjoy it.

No question that Solus has nice products in their showroom. A bit on the expensive side for what you really get which is nothing more than a nice choice in color for a cast of concrete and a burner. The units themselves are extremely simple when you look inside at them. Competition should bring down their pricing point over time.

I live in the Vancouver, Canada area so close to their business and production facility. My biggest challenge was with the sales team, the overpromote and the lack of true customer service. A couple of key points - 1) they promoted free delivery. Due to high demand, the product was over 4 weeks late in being produced and available which is important when your outdoor days are few. Also, the "free delivery" ended up scratching the brand new unit before it was even ignited. 2) they don't offer any discount off their product which is 20% to 50% more than comparable units 3) they didn't recommend any gas fitters in my area - they should have a list of preferred contractors they have a relationship with and make this a painless installation. I had to have the gas fitter come back 3 or 4 times to get it installed at my cost and he was appaulled at Solus' lack of support 4) the units don't provide much heat - if you live in a cooler climate expect it to just be decorative 5) the accessories they sold with the firepit aren't really intended for the outdoors - maybe Arizona or California but not in the Northwest rainforest climate. The cover only collects water in a pool and the $800 overpriced tabletop gets damage after any exposure to the elements.

Still use it and love having an outdoor firepit but the experience with the company and sales team put me off.

Working with Kris and Brad is so easy - they find the right product, walk our customers through all of their options, and, when there is a deficiency they work to fix any items immediately.

As Landscape Architects, we are quite impressed with the quality of the material we received from Solus. The concrete work on the HALO fire table we received was excellent, the product arrived timely and in perfect shape. We are confident specifying Solus' product and will continue to do so for many projects in the future.

These guys make a fantastic fire bowl. The design and craftsmanship are really well done and it's easy to enjoy the product. It also gets a lot of compliments.

The thing that's missing in their (overall) product is the installation of the fire bowl and its gas line. Building such a nice piece but then delivering it only to your door, given how heavy and delicate the product is, is not full considered. This part of the experience has to be looked at from the consumer's perspective. Few people know what they're doing with attaching the gas line to the propane tank; unlike a BBQ which is self-explanatory, the bow needed full assembly and there were only verbal instructions from the delivery crew on how to put it together. (As an aside, on my inquiry how to assemble the product, the delivery guy was on the rude and rushed side). Lastly, the gas line is too short and it had to be purchased separately. This made for a lot of additional work after the purchase.

In short, sell / blend the installation procedure 'as part of the product' and make the line longer too. If someone wants to do all this themselves, provide a discount on their overall price but the overall price should include delivery and installation. Your customer will love the product even more
