Chaos at the council
My two interactions with the council have been bad. First I wanted my garden sacks collected. I went on the collection booking service and proceeded through their convoluted website. I got through to last page and then there was a note saying that the booking service was not currently in operation and to just leave the sacks outside on the normal garden collection day. On the day of the collection they collected my neighbours garden bin and sacks AND LEFT MINE even though we’re in obvious full view. I then had to have the hassle of contacting the council again to find out I had to book a missed collection and they had to come back and get them!
Later I ordered some garden sacks and it said they will take 10 working days to be delivered. I ordered them in 13th May and it is now the 16th June. I had to phone the council again and was told that I’d have to wait in a long queue to speak to someone. I’m writing this review whilst I sit here on hold…..
