Difficult to cancel the trial
Difficult to cancel the trial, I did not even use the product and was charged. When I requested a refund they said no refunds.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Generally a good product. It offers an interesting code review up to a certain level. One dealbreaker is that support for the cloud product is to be provided purely via the community forum. After reading through this, we realised that it is unusable for a large number of users. On enquiry, we were then offered, if I understood correctly, a support plan for a self-hosted Sonar instance for 21k USD / year. Thank you very much.
The question that concerned us was not answered in the forum and honestly - if a question becomes a blocker for a team, who wants to post it in a forum and hope that it will be answered or not? Professionals offer clear and affordable support plans for their service.
Very cumbersome to work with - configuration is confusing and unnecessarily difficult. It gets the job done, but it could be a lot easier to use.
Really strange logic. For avoiding future payments they recommends to downgrade. But even if you paid for the full month of service they remove all your projects and not making any refund.
So I would not recommend to pay for such service at all! They are cheaters!
BAD experience from the start. Trying to load the StartSonar but all sort of problems one by one. First errors as I didn't have Java. Downloaded. Then complained about x86. Downloaded x64. Then complained about Java 11. To download Java 11 you gotta sign up to Oracle. After an hour was able to install Java 11. Then same bloody error complaining about Java 11? What the hell is this? How do you expect to survive with this rubbish user experience? This sucks.
The service seems a good idea so I used the free trial but didnt fin it matched my needs and then found it very difficult to cancel! THe user interface is quite confusing such that the customer service staff could not send me to a cancel button easily. I requested that customer service cancel/downgrade to free for me but they instead insisted that I cancel for myself even though they could not point me at the page to do so and I had already explained that i couldn't work out how to to do it. This process took months and so they have billed me many times after I requested to cancel. I suggest this is not fair and not how to run a business.
