this sucks i made a song that took me 2 hours i saved it and now its not there. i hate song maker

Bought as a birthday present from my husband. Booked it near to the expiry date with emails back and forth but helpful with the odd phone call too. It would be easier if we could book directly with the studio ourselves. The day itself was ok but the microphone still needed setting up when we arrived and it was freezing (!) which made me a bit tense. Plus the room was large (for a band) so a bit daunting. The engineer was pleasant enough and the result was fine - the recording itself. Just felt like we lost 5-10 minutes at the start with setting up the microphone etc. The computer side of it is amazing - so clever how the different recordings can be pieced together to create the final track. If I did this again, I’d get a slightly longer session so there would be time to warm up the voice and feel a bit more relaxed.

This was bought as a gift for my 8 year old daughter. She was treated like a superstar from start to finish and is delighted with her track. A memory I’m sure she will treasure forever. Before she went to bed she said it was the best day of her life. Jay was amazing and made her feel special and was great all round. Happy daughter happy parents. Have already recommended you to everyone!!! Thank you so much.

I got brought a songmaker experience for my 30th birthday present from my parents.
On the day me and my friend had an amazing day. All my life I've wanted to go in a recording studio. Andrei was amazing and made me feel very relaxed and my recordings sound amazing. The reason I've put it at average is because booking it was an awful experience. I rang up to book and got hung up on twice. Then I was told when I finally got through that they would need to ring me back to arrange dates. Danny who I spoke to was very rude. After 2 weeks I had no contact so I rang back as was worried it was a scam. I finally managed to book. Luckily I could get in at the Bristol studio. But defiantly wasn't easy process. Over all I now have my recordings and now I have a nice memory. And glad I got the chance to sing the song I wanted to as it has a very sad but special memory to it.

We went to Sutton to record I want you back by the Jackson Five and the whole experience was wonderful. Jay was amazing - expert, encouraging, friendly and putting my daughter at ease immediately. The sound was fantastic. Definitely want to do it again.

Booked an experience for my daughter as birthday gift. She absolutely loved every minute of her experience and had a memorable experience.

We had a Songmaker experience booked for a hen party. I contacted a week before to give our song choice and confirm booking and was asked to email. I did so and after hearing nothing, did so again a few days later. Two days before the Hen Do I contacted the agent we booked through who said they would try to contact Songmaker for us. They did so and were told they just needed to confirm with the studio. The day before the Hen Do I again contacted the agent who said the studio had pulled out and they would try to find a new one. This was less than 24 hours before the event and although a new venue was found eventually, it caused a lot of stress and left me spending the day of my daughters first birthday meal reorganising travel plans and contacting all the party to make sure they could get to the new venue.
Whilst I understand issues happen, Songmaker handled the situation appallingly.

Absolutely brilliant

I had this experience as a gift, and would highly recommend it, the recording session was relaxed and informal and great fun! I would do it all again.

Experience was excellent I was made to feel comfortable and the engineer talked us through the production of the song very well

Studio was great and the guys looked after me and made sure I had an amazing experience. I would definitely book with the same studio again. Communication with ricky was consist ant and he was very helpful when needing directions to the studio. When I was booking my studio time my voucher would have expired but ricky honoured it which saved me a hole lot of trouble. Thanks again I will definitely be going back there.

Ricky was prompt in communicating with me and ensured my backing file was with the studio as promised. When I had to rearrange my booking he arranged this without hassle. The actual studio (Mayfield Studios) could not be faulted and Ray was extremely friendly, supportive and made a bad voice actually sound half decent. Thanks to all!

I booked this for our granddaughter Amy's birthday, which turned out to be "The best present ever, in her whole life !!! " She was very nervous even though she had practiced her song all week, but as soon as she walked through the doors of Songmaker, she was made to feel welcome and at ease. Nothing was too much for them, they made her visit fun, and she has a CD of her singing her song to keep.

Daughter age 11 had a hour singing in proper recording studio all staff were helpful friendly so this made my daughter relax and enjoy it we have the song sent to our computer to download burn etc well worth the money we went to rosehill

Absolutely brilliant. Jake was very friendly and helpful. Obviously knew what he was doing, and my daughter came out with a fantastic recording. Would definitely do it again. Just need to wait for her to write her own song to record. Perfect experience. Couldn't recommend enough.

Really great few hours recording 2 songs with snowmaker this weekend. Great relaxed atmosphere with professional people working on my tracks. Throughly enjoyed myself and would recommend to other to book a day at Hot money studios through snowmaker
