Deep tissue massage was ordered and that is what was received. Therapist was very aligned with my requests and was very attentive. I was definitely satisfied.

My massage started at 2 o’clock…
My massage started at 2 o’clock finished at 3:27. When a sharp phone rang from the masseuseuse and she reached out and started chatting on her phone. No skill set ,no bedside manner does not know how to do a proper massage, and I would rather go to the Saint Regis or the Mandarin and have a beautiful massage . My bldg has a stunning massage room and this person should never ever be giving a massage to anyone, more than that when I tried to reach out to the company I was just put ,…,,,on someone will get back to you which no one did but there is no service and this is a total scam so either one will never ever use the service again and if anyone is smart, please do not use the service because even when you tip ahead of the game 200+ dollars for the 90 minute massage you are screwed anyway because they just take your money and do not really deliver on anything . I guess to fool each person once is good enough to make some money, and they have no service as no one will ever respond. I am writing this 30 minutes Post my massage. She did not even have the basic knowledge that you should put anything under clients knees when they are hurting when I told her she opened up the cupboard in the Massage room and took out eight towels, and then dumped them and left them on the way out absolutely outrageous that the service exists. They should be shut down.
I been working for soothe as a massage…
I been working for soothe as a massage therapist for 9 years and I never had a bad experience with clients and company. When clients ask me, how is it to work for soothe? I always respond. Wonderful, is a great company to work for, I am happy with it. But this pass January I had a bad experience with client. I had massage this lady once and seems that everything was ok, cose I didn’t hear any complain; but the second time was terrible for me. This was A cuplés massage. I got the confirmation, but few minutes later she cancel the appointment, and few minutes later she book again and accept it, but I called soothe to make sure Thad I was confirmed and ready to go. They said, yes is confirmed you ready to go. We both therapist got on time. The other therapist name was Cassandra. I commented to her that I was there before. So we set up and ready to start 90 minutes couples massage. Everything was fine. Until I was massaging this lady legs she was checking, I asked her if everything was fine, she said; yes! Ok , we done, we
pack back and gone. When I got home I check my payment and reviews. And got a very bad review from her. First of all she was complaining to company that she request not to book with me, that’s why I had a cancelation. But i guess soothe couldn’t fine another therapist and they book me again, not following her request. And then she complain about me that I was a inexperienced therapist, that I maliciously touching her private parts, that Im an old men. So many bad thing. My question is, if she felt uncountable with me, why she did not said nothing during the massage, and wait to complain later.
This end up for company to put me in paused. And I had e mail them to give me the opportunity to heard my version of the case. Like I said from the beginning, never had this kind of experience. Maybe her intention is to ruin my career. Who knows! I have had other complaints From clients, that they don’t like my Technic or things like that, which is normal; and most of my clients are very satisfied with my job. I always keep a rating of 4.5 stars. Now I have no job, and soothe does not respond my emails. Hopefully they read this review and give me a call or email me.
Manuel Rivera. Cassandra if you see this review, pls communicate with me. Thanks.

Very poor and Massage Therapist was touching me inappropriately and when I reported that they suspended my account, but kept the Massage Therapist on their platform. They are very biased company. I would definitely not recommend you do business with them.
Another terrible experience with…
Another terrible experience with Soothe. They have a 50% rate. Half are good and half are terrible experiences - and mostly at the scheduling level. It is usually a disaster, no reminders, etc.
Terrible service.
If I could give less than one star I would. I joined, had a decent massage - not great, but solid enough so decided to book one for my birthday. Booked in advance for an after brunch massage. No warning, no text, no call. 1.5 hours before the app just says "sorry, no providers available". I text with Help, and they say provider had an emergency and they can't find anyone else no matter how much I flex the time. Great. So, I decide to book for the following week, a pre- minor-surgery relaxation for myself.
Looking forward to it and... Takes 3 days for a provider to pick up the appt. Same lady, Kimberly. Low and behold 30 mins before my appt I check the app " sorry, no provider available". Apparently Kimberly has ANOTHER "emergency". "HELP" is no help at all.... and I'm out a massage, again. Last minute, no options.
For the love of God. Do NOT use Soothe, no matter what.
This App Has Bugs
It was a hassle to apply as they were not knowledgeable about the requirements to be a massage therapist in California. I never had clients with this service. Customers were very far away and they would book less than a half-hour from the scheduled time. I required at least 24 hours; I do have another job. Most of the time I would get an error message if I decided to accept an appointment.

Booked 2 home-spa treatments with @Soothe - neither came on time and only one of them showed up. Their customer support showed zero empathy. I'd steer clear.

Support is terrible
Therapist Siobhan was unprofessional to the limit. First she forgot then rearranged then vanished.
Total scam
Soothe Internet Service Scam--
Soothe Internet Service Scam--
Canceled a Sooth account after finding they didn't have providers in my area, however, Sooth never canceled their billing. Continued to bill my card monthly for $89. Discovered this when doing my taxes (billed HSA) and now Soothe refuses to respond to calls, emails, or texts. Merlin Kauffman is the owner, who lives in San Juan. Hope he is enjoying being a criminal.
Im a free lance massage therapist and…
Im a free lance massage therapist and have been with soothe for over 10 yrs since they started in uk.
I appreciate the work but the company is appalling in dealing with basic issues such as customer service...i can't tell you the amount of times ive only been issued with part of an address and no way of contacting the client or the client unable to contact me..
Several interactions with technicians and ive never been able to speak to management..furthermore speaking to several soothe therapists in london this is a problem widespread...im under the notion the usa base company does not care about its English market.
horrible
horrible, horrible, horrible...... I booked a couple's massage a week in advance. Two therapists confirmed. The day the service arrived and as I'm sitting there waiting I checked the app because it was almost time and I hadn't heard from anyone. Turns out one of the therapists had cancelled and I was never notified. When I reached out to customer service they said that the other one was on her way but they couldn't get me a second one. I, of course cancelled and requested a full refund. I understand that things happen but the least I deserved was to be notified. The other one never arrived either. This thing should not be in business!!
Absolute trash for clients and…
Absolute trash for clients and providers alike. Pray you don’t need assistance with anything. The app CONSTANTLY GLITCHES. When clients or providers have issues resolving issues NO ONE IS EVER AVAILABLE. If you message them they take forever (45minutes to an hour) to respond if they ever do. When you call they route your call to a test message so nothing ever gets resolved. It doesn’t matter if your a client or provider there is no help when anything goes wrong.

If I could give a negative 1000 as the review I would. This place is absolutely a joke. So I’ve been trying to get them to refund and stop charging me since June. My assistant signed up with two of my
Emails for this using my debit card.
She scheduled three different appointments and only 1 out of the 3 showed up to give me a massage. I am fully disabled and terminally ill. I called as soon as I saw that they charged my account for massages that never took place due to their incompetent therapist, and that’s when I discovered that accounts were made. I was told that I’d get a refund and also that there will be no more charges.
Welp what do you know,, consistently every month I’ve been charged $199.. I’ve called over 40
Times and every time I am either on hold for hours and can’t reach a human or this stupid text service doesn’t understand anything but yes or nos. I’ve sent emails, and everything. I do not want to have to go and close my account to stop this because it will take days and days for me to
Update every auto pay that I have. Today is Oct 21st and I just spent over 1.5 hrs trying to get the “right department” on the phone,, i decided to try hitting a different departments ext in the hopes of talking to someone. Yep big waste of
time, told to do what I’ve already done over and over again, and dropped on the auto system: stay away from this company- they are obviously scammers who prey on the elderly or weak.
CREEPY therapist who pictures client's genitals after he mists them to sleep.
Dubby Wai Doo License #32689 Certified Massage Practitioner 05/05/2024 San Francisco Active
...works for SOOTHE and REDMINT during arranged schedules, and due to my FOOT REFLEXOLOGY SESSION, THERAPIST wanted me to remove my tight pants to have access to my lower knees, but he sprayed non-stop a bunch of mist made by REDMINT, I had sleep quality issues so the mist didn't work on knocking me out to sleep; then I caught therapist taking pictures by reaching under the covers. I demanded to see therapist phone, but therapist quickly typed onto the screen and turned the phone to erase. I popped up from my position and witnessed a bunch of other people's naked genitals pictures on his phone that this therapist collected in his practice by knocking people out with REDMINT mist and then taking their pictures, doing whatever he wants, and then leaving the session. Those photos may be someone's dad, mom, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, wife, boyfriend, or lover; and this therapist guy is allowed to be practicing in public like this?! REDMINT has been notified, but they did not apologize, instead, they are currently removing evidence from their website stating they don't sell this mist item nor have employee badges, and also removed therapist's name from their site to avoid compliance and responsibility. Redmint had also texted me to remove my rating so that the public would not get accurate information on Redmint's questionable practices.
Pain bc of distracted masseuse
Worst ever!
Masseuse was on her phone. How she managed,I don’t know. But obviously she was distracted and hurt me. The follow up was lame and manipulative so I cancelled. Not my type of company.
you deserve better than Soothe
I’ve been dealing with Soothe’s BS for years because there’s nothing better than an in-home massage. While the therapists are out it this world, the Soothe platform is and has always been garbage and they fail to adapt to client needs. I have had so many canceled appointments with them the root cause of which is that they do not allow you book a window of time (noon -4pm) that will work for you but just one time slot (noon-1pm). The day of your appointment it is not uncommon for them to say “sorry, we couldn’t find anybody”. I used to deal with this because they were the only game in town. Now I’ve switched to Zeel which allows me to put in my entire time frame I’m available, increasing the odds of attracting a therapist. Don’t bother with Soothe unless you like to get canceled on all the time.
Fabulous massage with Ryan.
I didn't get the massage that had been confirmed
Like others, I booked an appointment, got a confirmation, and then no one showed up.
When I emailed them, they said they hadn't been able to get a confirmed massage for me. I showed them the screenshot of the confirmation, and they changed their tune to a cancellation.
Since I'd read a lot of reviews saying this had happened, my hopes were not high, and actually getting a massage was going to be a bonus. They'll release my credit card hold within three days.
I'll go to the massage place near here when I want one. I'd played in a hockey tournament this weekend and really could have used one last night.

Big ole N O P E
I had a service booked and confirmed for today at 1:30 for which I cleared my entire schedule. This is the second time I tried to book something so I was glad to finally have a session confirmed four days prior to the actual service. At 12:40 I received an email from Soothe saying I’d already had the service, asking me how it was (??). Confused, I went to the app, and it said my confirmed service scheduled for 1:30 p.m. was cancelled.
I never got any notice.
I understand that things happen that are out of one’s control, but COMPANIES REALLY NEED TO INFORM PEOPLE OF CANCELLATIONS WHEN THEY HAPPEN. I scheduled my entire day around this and just happened to come across the cancellation by accident after receiving the bizarre email.
Let me emphasize: I NEVER RECEIVED A SERVICE. I truly hope that the temporary charges (service and tip) on my card are removed promptly.
I tried to call and was kicked to text I had to wait an hour for and the person who I chatted with must have been following a script and/or not comprehending what I was trying to explain because there were ten minute pauses between responses and she didn’t respond appropriately to what I typed.
Long story long, I gave up trying to explain what had happened and asked her to deactivate my account.
Ugh.
