On time, charming, neat and tidy and very helpful. Chimney swept to perfection. Will only use Sooty Brushes from now on.

Luke arrived, as always at the arranged time, the work was done with the minimum of fuss, not a trace of soot or disturbance anywhere. Fire burning away beautifully. Because Luke has such good technical knowledge and plenty of experience it means he can assess any work which the chimney or fire needs and make recommendations for repairs. Reassuring to the home owner to know that all is well!

Outstanding service.

Luke was so incredibly thorough and went above and beyond what I expected. His expertise showed through immediately - we had previously had another, less experienced, chimney sweep in who had identified an issue and not been able to complete the job but Luke quickly realised what had stumped them and then did a far superior clean, including teaching me how to build an optimum fire for our particular set up. He even removed a dead bird from an unused second chimney breast, which I’d asked him to quickly check to assess initial suitability for installing a fireplace there. I couldn’t be more impressed, thank you so much.

I can add little to all the five star reviews which Luke totally deserves. He arrives spot on time and just gets on with his work with no fuss. Everything is modern clean and super efficient all backed up by Luke himself who is a really good guy and wholly professional. So glad to have found him, he is a country mile better than our previous sweep.

Turned up on time as arranged and gave good advise on the state of our chimney flue. Gave options and left us with a working safe fireplace. Would recommend

Luke at Sooty Brushes is fantastic and someone I’d highly recommend. He communicates well, always responding quickly to queries, while his service is very professional. He has swept both our log burners the past couple of years and always comes well prepared and leaves the rooms spotless after he has finished. He also gives good, sound advice where needed.
