We received our amazing Elm Slab Dining Table last week and are extremely happy with both the table and the buying process with Sorrell & Smith. Corey guided us through from identifying the slab sending videos of it's transformation and then came and delivered it. Would recommend the company if you're thinking of purchasing something special for your home.

Well finished off product and delivered very quickly. Slightly disappointed that it has flex and is not rigid so time will tell if it helps hold the table flat

I can’t recommend this company enough. We commissioned an oak coffee table and Corey and his team have delivered an absolutely gorgeous and exceptional piece of furniture. From the very beginning, Corey was incredible and kept us informed every step of the way. He sent us regular videos, including an initial one which showed which piece of oak he recommended. We opted for a table made out of 2 pieces of oak connected down the middle and the join literally can’t be seen. Corey arranged for a beautiful black metal plinth to be fabricated and it’s stunning. We received video updates all the way through the process.

We will definitely use Sorrell & Smith again for future pieces of furniture. Buy from them with full confidence as you won’t be disappointed.

The main reason for purchasing a table from Sorrell & Smith was the quality of the product. What we could not have anticipated was the flexibility of the team who went above and beyond to ensure that we got the table we wanted including starting from scratch when we saw an alternative to the table we had ordered. Great products, great customer service and while these tables are expensive, I would say good value.

We were looking for a bespoke breakfast bar to integrate into a new kitchen. We didn't like anything on offer from the standard ranges of the kitchen manufacturers so decided on a natural wood alternative. Sorrell and Smith advised on the design, integrating an unobtrusive pillar leg supporting a beautiful piece of French Oak. The finished article is now the star of the show and commented on by everyone.

Well I never thought we could find a unique piece of wood online without ever seeing it in real life. Communication, Video links spot on. You showed us the wood in its raw state. We are lovers of beautiful natural pieces of wood and this will look great in our new kitchen eventually. Good luck to your team we will be back.

If you want a unique, bespoke and essentially a work of art, use these guys who will source the materials and build wooden furniture / worktops to your specifications. My wife and I commissioned our new kitchen worktops and kitchen bar stools with Corey and Sam. They have turned our kitchen into something special with their artisanal carpentry skills. Can’t recommend them enough. Will be using them again for a dining room table. (After I have paid the kitchen off)

From my first contact with Sorrell and Smith, the experience has been nothing but professional. They respond promptly to enquiries and are clearly passionate about their work. We visited their workshop and were very impressed — both by the quality of what we saw and the enthusiasm shown by Corry and Sam.

The shelf I ordered in mappa burr (poplar) was simply gorgeous, exactly to my specification - perfect! Also brilliant was that I was able to email Sorrell’s manager, Corey, and receive a detailed response - a rarity in this age when communication by the customer is not deemed important. I would very much recommend this young company for the quality of their product and their care for the customer. Excellent.

Corey sourced the wood, worked with us through the design and production, producing a stunning piece of furniture. Professional and responsive, we could not have been more pleased with the result.

bought the twin c table base with matching glass tabletop in toughened glass. i added the base and top to cart and sorrell and smith recommened we go with a slightly smaller glass size for perfect proportions and its now arrived 4 weeks later and it looks utterly stunning.

so overall it was well priced and fantastic quality with fast turnaround
