Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This company is IN BREACH OF THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW .

After multiple complaints from customers, this company recently changed their name from "Storygifter " to "Soul Sent Gifts"- Trustpilot reviews can be found under both names. Please read them before you purchase!

Absolutely fraudulent. Advertising a book titled "MUM, I want to hear your story" - They send out an American version titled MOM and refuse to send the correct book (MUM) even after that is the book you have purchased and paid for.
Their solution is for YOU to send the book back to them in AMERICA (with tracking) for a refund...
MANY customers have complained about this on their social media posts (Of which StoryGifter promptly remove ALL negative comments)-
This has been forwarded to Consumer Affairs & Fair Trading by other customers.

StoryGifter have breached the Australian Consumer Law:

- The Australian Consumer Law provides consumers with the right to truthful and accurate representations when buying a product or service. This means that businesses must not mislead you with statements that are incorrect or likely to give you the wrong impression. This rule applies to information that a business provides you in any medium, including when talking to a sales representative, on packaging, in online shopping forums or social media.

StoryGifter have also breached:

- Section 56 titled "Guarantee as to supply by description."
&
- Section 29 :Prohibits businesses from making false, deceptive or misleading representations about goods or services, in connection with their supply or promotion.

"No goods and services should be marketed in such a way as to reasonably imply a false or misleading representation regarding the goods or services.
Avoid at all costs- and if you have fallen victim to them, please report them to the Government Agency in your state."
