It was my wife's birthday and they managed to make it happen to raise the day after I ordered the guitar that my wife wanted. Great quality.

We have bought two guitars from Souman. The first time we were looking for an inexpensive guitar for a beginner. We were helped by a gentleman called Wilfried who took all the time necessary to chat to us about the different models that Souman carry within our stated price range. He was a very nice, knowledgeable and attentive bloke who is clearly very passionate about music and musical instruments. He made our experience a really positive one and I promised myself I would go to Souman to buy my next guitar when the time came.

A few months later, I was looking for an acoustic guitar. Having owned a Taylor in the past, that's what I wanted to get. Souman have a brilliant variety of all the newest stock of Taylor, Martin and a several other manufacturers (I'll confess I don't remember which others, I was only considering the two aforementioned brands). Anyway, we were in the shop for around 4 hours. During this time I was able to try every guitar I wanted, for as long as I wanted - without ever feeling like a nuisance.

Ard (one of the owners) approached us shortly after we arrived to offer us coffee. A little while later we got chatting and without exaggerating, it was like visiting an old friend. The amount of time Ard takes to speak to customers and provide them with advice is not something I've often experienced. On top of that, he's just a really nice bloke. There was no pushy salesman nonsense whatsoever.

Shortly after getting my guitar home, I noticed some superficial markings in the binding. Not the sort of thing that would bother most people, or that most people would even notice. All the same, I wanted to message Ard and ask whether it was something they could sort out for me when I took my guitar for a setup in a few months time. Ard responded that he would take care of it personally. He did everything he could to make sure the issue was rectified very quickly and reassured me that we'd find a solution. Which we definitely did.

In short, I can't say enough good things about Ard and Wilfried. I have been a musician for many years and it's often tempting to buy online for the convenience factor, though I would encourage anyone looking for a guitar to shop here first. Prices at Souman beat (or match) the ones you can find elsewhere - yeah, even at the 2 web giants. Even if the prices didn't match, it would be worth going to Souman for the service alone.

quality is brand new, it had a good discount, and delivered 300km in under 24 hours :)

First of all, I'd like to clarify that I did not buy a guitar here, rather get a guitar I had recently purchased online intonated. Upon discovering this shop, I called to ask if they would be able to intonate my guitar, to which they politely accepted while making it clear that I would need new strings. When I arrived the staff were friendly, hell, they even offered me free coffee! Although, as they discovered I had purchased the guitar online and not at their shop, their demeanor changed for the worse. The two gentlemen at the front desk interrogatively asked me why I had brought this guitar to them, Insinuating they took offense. After which, they told me to get a refund from the shop I purchased the guitar at, and buy a new guitar from their shop. I understand their reasoning behind this statement, and I am not going to say I know better, because at the end of the day they are the professionals and not me. Although, I do not feel like I was treated respectfully.

Amazing service, I got the guitar within 36 hours of placing the order, the guitar was in perfect condition, and the staff was very helpful and friendly when I spoke on the phone. I even got the guitar at a lower price than every other website. 10/10 cannot recommend enough!

Great communication and service

I came from India looking for a new guitar and after checking all shops in Amsterdam, this was BY FAR the BEST shop I've ever been to! Beautifully layed out, great service, easy going, gave good advice and also gave me my space. I loved how well done everything was in the shop. My family could sit cozy with a free cup of coffee while I took my time choosing my new love. It was definitely worth my journey!

I bought Martin guitar from this store and I am loving it. Not only the guitar but all the guidance that owner provided. When I received the guitar it had a personal note from the owner and also with the suprise gift. Such a fantastic experience that I had.. I really do recommend this shop to the ones that love music and guitar.
