Janglebox guitar pedal ordered at a highly competitive price was despatched and delivered quickly.

I ordered a used Rickenbacker 12 string from Sound Affects and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I placed my order online only to be emailed to say the guitar had actually just sold in store and the website hadn’t been updated but they did have another exactly the same just slightly older.

Paul emailed me through a good number of photos and I had a couple of chats with him over the phone, both times I rang I got straight through to him. I was happy with the photos and what he had to say about the guitar so I decided to go for it.

The guitar arrived on the Monday after I had placed my order on the Friday. Despite coming in a hard case the guitar was well packed with a solid cardboard outer.

As for the guitar itself I’m honestly blown away by it - not only does it look stunning but it sounds incredible, by far the best sounding Rick 12 string I have owned (this will be my fourth!).

It has been fitted with flat wound strings which give it a real vintage sound and it is set up perfectly, a lovely low action (just how I like it) and no fret buzz.

I did email Paul to ask about the strings and to let him know how I was getting on with the guitar and he responded very quickly.

Ordered a leather strap for my son’s bass guitar, it arrived and looked great to me.. however it wasn’t right for a heavy bass guitar so I had to return unfortunately.
I have been fully refunded and they replied to my emails promptly.

I bought aJHS splitter/ buffer which works perfectly- it seems to be very transparent and quiet which is exactly what it needs to be. Sound Affects delivered it quickly so I’m happy.

Paul and the staff have been outstanding and what I like is that they allow you to take your time and explore the guitars whilst being on hand if you need help. They also have a great range of guitars too. Can't fault this place at all - although my wallet might disagree! LOL

The guitar arrived with lacquer cracks, smudges and some parts looking like they had been put on in a hurry. Only reason I've not returned it is because I can't be bothered to go through the process.
