Epiphone Les Paul Custom Ebony
The Epiphone Les Paul Custom Ebony I bought from sounds Affects arrived in a very short amount of time, which impressed me. What didn't impress me were the scratch marks on the back and one scratch mark on the front, along with tons of dust and a weird mark on the back. The guitar is still fully functional and sounds amazing, but it kind of frustrates me that a guitar that is supposed to be new came in a clearly not fully new condition. The guitar kind of looks to be in a condition that you would expect a display model guitar to be in.
Overall, the delivery was great but the condition it came in kind of shocked me, especially considering the price of the guitar.

We are an authorised Epiphone / Gibson dealer so we can assure you the guitar you purchased was brand new.
When you first made contact we explained that the pickguard and covers still have their cellophane on so any marks would be removed when taken off.
Before dispatch we run our guitars by our tech. They would be hung in his workshop to be checked over before being packed away.
I am only assume that any dust on the guitar was from them.
We should have dusted before dispatch though so apologies for this.
As explained in our emails if you are unhappy with your purchase you can return within 14 days.
Apologies again for any inconvenience caused from this order.

Gibson R9 purchase
I live in the north of Scotland and not close to any music stores. It is always a risk purchasing a guitar online without the opportunity to try it out. I have always wanted a Gibson Custom Shop 59 Reissue. I spotted a 2020 example in Soundaffects that ticked my boxes. I was very hesitant to risk that amount of money but Paul was very patient over many weeks with me asking a lot of questions. He sent photos and videos, gave me an accurate assessment of condition and specs. I pulled the trigger and wow, I could not be happier, a stunning guitar in better condition than I anticipated. Over 35 years I have bought far too many guitars and this purchase is the best experience I’ve had. Honest great service, many thanks, I’ll be back!

From a variety of review sources I decided to purchase a Wampler EGO Compressor, and looked around the marketplace for a supplier.
Sound Affects stocked them at a competitive price, so I decided to purchase from them. The online transaction was ultra easy and tracked delivery was spot on!
The compressor works as described. Five stars all round, I will definitely use Sound Affects again, especially as I live in the North West of England.
