Impressive service

Guitar turned up very quickly. Initially the tremolo arm was missing and when I chased sound affects up on this they sent that on within a few days at no cost!

Take your money and offer poor backup.

Really disappointed with this shop and the guitar they supplied. After spending £2300 on a guitar with electrical problems they offer you next to no help at all. I took the guitar to a local shop in the end who have cleaned the pots but the problem still persists. I'm within my statutory rights to fire this guitar back at them. It's just not how you work in a retail environment. Most shops would offer to cover the parts at least. If you're thinking of purchasing online from here be wary..

I think its worth mentioning that you claim not to have plugged this electric guitar in until you owned it for 5 months and that it was a second hand item. We will gladly rectify issues that arise on used items within a reasonable timescale (3 months) for customers who are honest about reporting them. To expect us to rectify an issue at any point on a used item is unreasonable. This is is typical behaviour from customers who want the maximum discount when buying and then expect goodwill gestures when they need help. Resorting to review sites in an attempt to hold retailers hostage doesn't wash any more. Consumers understand there are two sides to every story. And in this case they now have both.

What a shame they can not tell a ding…

What a shame they can not tell a ding in a guitar to a crack in the wood under the lacure ,yes the guitar was listed as ex display with some paint missing around the edges and yes they put an out of focus picture of what they say is a small ding. but once the guitar got to me i found the ding caused the wood under it to crack on the front of the guitar not the best place to have one this was my first buy and my last. i have bought the same guitar new for less from a music shop who just had one left to sell but gave it to a friend for free yesterday as he said he liked it .the one i.have here is a lemon , beware

I could not have wished, or expected a better service.. if your in for a new guitar etc then this shop has the lot they also stock a wide range of great gear and with a top notch attentive staff to back it all up...nothing is too much trouble. I would not hesitate to buy through sound affects again VERY, VERY recommended
