Check The Small Print

At check-in, we were asked for a security deposit that was duly paid. Upon check-out, we were told that the security deposit would be paid back within a few days. After approximately two weeks I noticed a charge on my credit card for $91,20. When I asked the hotel what it was they sent an invoice for 'service fees' that was conveniently hidden amongst small print in our Hotel Voucher sent by our travel agent. We weren't informed of this charge nor mentioned it at check-in or check-out. I did not authorize the debit on my credit card. This is something all visitors should be made aware of, as it wasn't it feels like we have been scammed. Also, this hotel is filthy. The carpets smell and haven't been cleaned in many months, the shower in our room leaked and we got some nasty little bites from the beds. Perhaps they should use the money that they stole from us to clean and upgrade this 2-star establishment.
