We used the company to retrofit a backup battery to our solar panels, and also got them to fit an EV charger (in case we ever get an electric car, or subsequent house owners have one) They were very efficient, did what we wanted, and also explained why we didn't need to upgrade our main fuse into the house. I can't remember the exact date in January!

From start to finish, South East Solar were fantastic. They were good communicators, very patient, always arrived on time, friendly and excellent value for money.

A very well run company. All the staff I have spoken to have been exceptionally professional and extremely helpful from start to finish. We are satisfied with the workmanship and would highly recommend. A little shout for Joe, one of their electricians who goes above and beyond, working a long day relentlessly and efficiently.

Astonishingly good service: a proper one stop shop company. We had a battery an 11 panel array installed. Great back office support setting the job up, friendly and professional team on the day who explained how it all worked clearly and great after sales service. Good price too through our Local Authority scheme. And we haven’t paid for electricity since the system was installed so great system design! Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with the installation of the solar panels and battery. All the guys worked extremely hard in very hot and sunny conditions particularly the electrician who worked nonstop all day. I was surprised and pleased that 16 panels, a battery and EPS was installed and working in one day. Brilliant.

Overall was a smooth and painless experience. SESE were recommended to us by a colleague that utilised their services for his commercial roof. We called and booked an appointment for a time that suited us. The representative was timely, well prepared and knowledgeable, this gave us great confidence. We did get a second quite for piece of mind, their price was higher and the chap had a second car sale stigma, which was overwhelming. Needless to say, we moved forward with SESE and had no regrets. They installed an EV charger and 5 panels on either side of our roof inset within the tiles. No issues, clean polite installers and scaffolding was dismantled swiftly. Would and have recommended. Thanks again to the team, great effort by all!!

We had our solar panels installed 08 May 2025, unfortunately the electrician could not get the Solis Inverter to work (converts DC to AC), diagnosed it as a faulty unit and needed to be replaced. Two weeks later, despite several calls, very little progress has been made. No sign of a replacement, frustrating to have 15 panels generating nothing :(

Thank you for your response, appreciate you have not required payment for the remaining balance until the issue is resolved.
Your technician, Will, has updated me today to say the warranty claim for the replacement Inverter has been approved so hopefully we will be up & running soon.

We chose south east solar after looking for an accredited company in our area, we had a couple of other companies come to our property with the standard sales spiel however their team had a more personal approach and guided us through our requirements. From an early stage we felt like we were being taken care of and the installation and aftercare mirrored this throughout. we would strongly recommend them for any solar requirements you may have, after using them in my residential property we have also utilised them on our commercial premises and recommended them to numerous others in our areas.

A few friends recommended myself to South East solar and I was very impressed from start to finish. Great job guys 👍🏼

If you’re anything like me you’re always nervous about such a big investment and it’s safe to say I had a lot of questions about the process, but I couldn’t have chosen a better company in South East Solar and Electrical. They answered all of my questions with the utmost professionalism and expertise, and what I loved the most is that they kept things in laymen’s terms for me to understand :-). The install was faultless, the entire team including sales, scaffolders, roofers and electricians was spot on. And as for the quality of the products and was it worth it…. Let’s just say all the savings I was told I would make has exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this company.

This company service my solar panels at the end of last year and the beginning of this year they must be one of the best companies in the Southeast for doing this type of work. I must say that I have got no issues in recommending them to anybody for this type of work. I think it was first class.

I had my solar panel system installed by SESE in July 2024 and have been impressed with the performance of the panels ever since. They were helpful and professional throughout the install and handover stages, and I will definitely be using them in the future when I plan to expand my system.

I will avoid like the plague. They quoted me £300 Inc vat to clean my seven ‘as new’ solar panels on my ground floor terrace roof. Very easily accessible. I queried it with them, to no avail.

Installed a battery through the local authority sponsored Solar Together scheme. However the second engineer that came to commission the system and instal the last part and could not get it working.
They are now waiting for a part ( no timescale given and I had to chase them) and only couple of hours later their accounts dept chased me for payment.
Needless to say no payment being made until the work is actually complete.
Not a great experience so far

Update 6 March - after a couple of teething problems we got there in the end. The firm was responsive and proactive to get the issues fixed and kept a check on the system remotely to make sure all was working as it should.

This is a terrible company. They installed our solar panels, inverter and battery just two years ago. At the time we thought we were happy and referred four people to them who all had their systems installed by them, so they made a lot of money from us (with no incentives referral fees to us). Now after only two years there is a fault with our inverter. It is not something we've done, just some kind of glitch. It could be an installation error. They want to charge us £250 call out fee to come and look... and hopefully repair. This is outrageous. They have said that the fault isn't covered under the product warrantee or their after care agreement. Absolutely no customer care consideration. I would steer very far clear of this company. CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE!
