A good experience from start to finish with everyone I dealt with. Leo who did the work was polite, tidy, did and took real pride in his job. I would certainly recommend them.
I’m really disappointed with my first experience. I booked a quotation for a large project with one of the Directors (David). The appointment was later moved to a different time slot, which was fine.
However, on the day, the entire window passed with no visit and no communication. I’d kept two hours free specifically for this, only to end up calling the office myself and being told he was running late.
For a company with a receptionist, a simple call or text should be the absolute minimum. Wasting a customer’s time like this doesn’t inspire confidence, and unfortunately they won’t be getting my business. It’s a shame, as the other reviews looked promising, but my experience was far from it.

Dear Todd, we’re sorry we didn’t update you that we were running behind schedule. You’re absolutely right to expect a call or text if an appointment is going to be late.
On the day, David was on a job that overran and couldn’t step away at that moment. That isn’t an excuse — we should still have ensured you were informed, and we apologise for the inconvenience and the time you set aside.
When you called the office, we immediately apologised and offered to rearrange at a time that suited you, including an early slot to reduce the risk of delays. I also followed up with a further apology message.
We have also noted the same feedback has been posted in three separate reviews. While we respect your right to share your experience, we don’t feel multiple 1★ reviews accurately reflect how we responded once we were made aware, or the standard of service we aim to provide.
For clarity, we are not a “big company” — we’re a small local business and our customers are extremely important to us. We wish you all the best with your project going forward.
We had a complex series of problems with our combi boiler, but Bradley and David figured it out and fixed it. Thankyou for your diligent work.
Really good. Needed an emergency gas repair as our chippie drilled through a weirdly placed gas pipe by mistake. James came round, arrived bang on the agreed ETA and did a great job of fixing the issue. Highly recommended.
Had the very best service yesterday on an emergency call out from David at Space Heating. Incredibly helpful and efficient. Very reasonably priced. And has followed up today with a call to make sure everything is alright. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. (And also thanks to Christine in their office who was a pleasure to deal with.)
After a fault developed in our 20 year old boiler (spotted by a Space Heating engineer when doing another job) we obtained quotes for a new system from Space Heating and another well-known national company. Space Heating took a lot more trouble to understand our requirements and came up with a much superior proposal. The result was a beautifully engineered installation.
As a company they have an excellent vibe, and their engineers are skilled, committed, friendly and enthusiastic. They are also notably quick in responding to queries. I would very highly recommend them.
I use Space Heating to service and maintain the gas C/H systems on 24 properties for over five years now and I have always found them to be very conscientious, knowledgeable and reliable.
