One of the greatest Distribution Services! the user experience makes it super easy to distribute your music even if its your first time doing it

Great platform, communication with staff is also really great, they're very willing to help. I got nothing bad to say about sparemusic as of my experience so far.

Ive been using spare music for years now and i only had a handful of issues that were resolved quickly they respond fast and upload music fast

Spare Music is so helpful and everyone there so professional. One can tell by simple conversation they care about the customer and what they do. Only good things from and to them all.

Spare Music is, hands down, the best distribution company I’ve ever used—and I’ve used pretty much all of them.

As an independent artist and digital marketing pro, I’ve run releases through the big-name distributors, tested their dashboards, dealt with their support teams, and fought with their weird limitations. Nobody comes close to the way Spare Music handles artists.

The platform is clean, fast, and actually built for real-world workflows. Uploads are simple, releases go out smoothly, and I’m not stuck second-guessing whether my music is actually going to hit the stores on time. The reporting is straightforward, payouts make sense, and I don’t feel like I need a spreadsheet and a detective badge just to figure out what I earned.

Where Spare Music really destroys the competition, though, is support. With other distributors, you’re lucky if you get a copy-pasted response a week later. when it comes to losing potential customers , he is the best at giving the most automated responses i have ever seen by far. he is a like a robot the dude named Chris bro. he is a total negligent individual he just bans you whenever he feels like it. he makes sparemusic into a terrible service he should be fired from this company, as he just makes it way worse then it already is. support is basically not there and all that yada yada you already know.. dont use the service cause they are gunna scam you

I've been using spare music as an alternative to Distrokid for well over a year now and everything from the interface down to the support is way better.

It's cleaner, easier, quicker etc. They have actual live support, they have clear and way more detailed statistics. Can't recommend it enough to artists and labels big and small.

I have been using SpareMusic for over two years now, and it has been a great experience working with this distributor. I tried many of the other distributors, but none of them were as good as SpareMusic. From the uploading process to the customer service, it has been phenomenal. I highly recommend trying their services. If you're a new user or an experienced user, you won't regret it!

Moderator Chris is very responsible. He usually replies within 12 hours and properly looks into any issues.

Free YouTube OAC service. This feature is fantastic. I verified my YouTube account, and now my music is automatically uploaded to my channel.

Take-down feature. Most distributors don’t offer this. Here, you can take down your release within 24 hours.

Drawbacks:

There’s no direct Spotify Artist Claim option (not a big issue — I was able to verify through the Spotify for Artists website).

2.

They take 50% of royalties for free plan, and on top of that, taxes apply — which ends up being quite a lot.

I am disappointed to see so many negative reviews, I have been working with spare now for 2 years and lets just start by saying if you steal music or upload ai bs or don't do proper accreditations you will encounter problems. I have had no problems to date and will continue my tenure here. Im not sure why people say support takes so long, i think the longest waited for a ticket was about an hour or so!

Would recommend to artists looking for a great distribution PARTNER.
