The glasses he fancied were locked behind high-security displays, priced steeply at over £150. After reluctantly paying a small fortune without the chance to properly try them on, the glasses arrived—too late for his exams. Hope was lost here, but direction and purpose were found.

Sid realised that eyewear, much like shoes, should come with options that cater to different needs and occasions without breaking the bank or compromising on quality. Driven by this idea, Sid envisioned a brand where selecting glasses would be as enjoyable and straightforward as choosing a pair of shoes for different occasions—hence our tagline, “A Frame for Every Game.“

Great product, great service, great value

Ordering was easy and despite missing the 4pm deadline my glasses were dispatched by about 11:30 the next day. Royal Mail got them to me within 24 hours. I am very impressed with the quality of the frames and the coatings on the "fully loaded" lenses do a great job of controlling glare. I can thoroughly recommend both the product and the service.

Amazing experience at Specscart…

Amazing experience at Specscart Walkden. My Dad has vascular dementia and had broken his glasses. His only hobby is to read and unfortunately, he broke his reading glasses and his usual optician had a 3-4 week turnaround. I visited Specscart and a gentleman called Paul was the the most accommodating and pleasant man I have ever come across. He understood the urgency for Dad to have new glasses, went above and beyond to do everything he could to help the situation and said he would mark as urgent, but could take a week. This was totally acceptable, but I was totally shocked when they rang to say they were ready to collect after 24 hours. The most amazing customer service, this store goes totally above and beyond and I highly recommend this opticians to everyone. Paul you are an absolute star and a credit to your profession

Specscart is great

Specscart is great. I have traditionally spent hundreds of pounds on designer reading glasses at Boots Opticians. It is a racket! My new specs from Specscart cost a fraction of the price and look great. The ordering process is really simple and the glasses arrived the next day.

If I could give zero stars I would!!

If I could give zero stars I would!!! I trusted them with 2 pairs of our expensive frames and ordered lenses online. I dropped my lenses off in store and stressed to them that the prescriptions in both needed to be right and we ran through the figures! They have arrived with the incorrect prescription! Not only is the incorrect prescription in both pairs of glasses but they have also put the wrong prescription on the lens card with all the details! Shows you receive an incompetent service and this is why they offer low prices! Do not use!!! Better spending a little more and getting your lenses done correctly!!!

UPDATE -

Since their response on trust pilot they had NOT attempted to contact me and were waiting a response. In fact they only responded to my email once my trust pilot post was shared. I have provided the photos of the INCORRECT prescription cards along with what SHOULD have been put in the lenses (opticians provided prescription) they have gone as far as telling us “before we jump to any conclusions”…. There’s no jumping to conclusions going on the glasses are blurred when on and the prescription card is completely different to the prescription uploaded… they’ve asked us to tell them what issues we are facing when wearing the glasses… I mean they only had to be on my face a couple of seconds to figure out they are completely wrong which is why I checked the card! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! We even went into store once we ordered online just to ensure it would all be correct and it STILL WAS WRONG.

Requested a refund and will update you accordingly on how their customer service team operates but in the meantime I have nothing good to say about this place and who knows if they will even resolve it so please BE CAREFUL AND WARY

What an incredible service

Real people, no Bots!…

The best thing about Specscart is that you can call them, the call is answered promptly and a real person gives help and advice . No Bots! The communication from start to finish is second to none.

Good value.

Excellent service when repairing glasses I had bought from them they had come apart. Only issue is due to the glasses not being fitted to my face, the lens are in the wrong place for my eyes. Still useable & as the price difference for my high prescription lenses was a bargain compared to specsavers, I’m keeping them.
