Helpful friendly staff, exactly as you'd want. Rooms are as you'd expect, simple but do the job, and the atmosphere, as ever, is just unique.

The overall check-in and check-out experience was good. I was able to store luggage post check-out too. The breakfast spread is something that could be improved upon especially on the weekend. In terms of room facilities, there could have been better options for tea and coffee.

Pleasant, helpful team, smooth check in etc and the room was lovely. Everything was very clean, and having access to a kitchen was a huge bonus which made my stay much more convenient. I would definitely book again.

Easy booking system, and no difficulty making an adjustment to the booking when my travel plans changed. Lovely accommodation - clean and comfortable, and a magnificent dining hall for breakfast. Felt safe walking to and from the city centre in the evenings.

easy to use, quick response

It was easy to book a room at the University on this website. It showed all the necessary information and prices for different accommodations. Everything went very well.

It was easy to use and see all of the beach huts on offer. Like the fact that you can see what is live to book.

I was a bit worried seeing that Speedybooker only has 28% 5-star reviews, but they were faultless for my stay at Keble College.

Shafer House, Euston. Basic room and limited facilities but that is all I needed. Good value. Have stayed in newer, more attractive Uni Rooms but Shafer House location is excellent for transport and has a Sainsbury's nearby. The night reception person was the most friendliest and helpful I have ever encountered on arrival. Very welcoming. Check out staff were more interested in their phones!

This week,I stayed in a double bed room. I felt hot.

I was extremely pleased with my stay at John Adams Hall in London. The location is fantastic: on a side street within easy walking distance of the British Museum and British Library, and Euston, St Pancras, and Kings Cross stations. Everything was very clean and in good working order. Staff were cheerful, helpful, and prompt. Plenty of hot water and great modern laundry facilities. I was glad to have a ground floor room facing the garden. Security was good but not obtrusive. The many doors and stairs would not make this a great option for anyone mobility impaired, but that’s unavoidable in a set of historic buildings. Fortunate students to live here during term

I stayed at UCL's John Adam's Hall, and it was just what I needed for a research week: clean, convenient, no fuss. To be sure, this is not luxury accommodation -- but it's also not advertised that way. The room was cleaner than some hotels I've stayed at, however, and the bathroom was spacious -- and crucially -- since it's an old building there was proper ventillation. The newer (allegedly fancier) student residences are horrible for this. The desk staff were helpful and friendly. The shared kitchen was clean and had everything I needed for a cup of tea in the morning. And there is a clean laundry room with an iron, which was perfect. I've stayed in a few residences around London and this is among the best. Thanks, John Adam's Hall!

The booking process with SpeedyBooker was simple and faultless. I received a booking confirmation stating the dates and the price paid, along with a booking reference. That's when it all fell over. I work for the University that owns the property I booked. At no point did the admin team contact me to ask for my arrival time, or to confirm the booking on our system. I had to chase them on the day. I've used this room several times before, with no issues, but on this occasion, the room was not cleaned, the bedding had not been changed, the bed was not 'made up' and no clean towels were provided. I will be seeking a refund. Kingston Admin - Get your act in gear!
