Needy Boys Needed at SPG

Billy Jr charged me $80 to figure out my car was out of gas. And $3 to touch it. Then he *tried* to sell me a battery +plus installation. And when I handed over my debit card, Billy Jr told me to look on the bright side - my car would be warm and toasty when I got in it. In other words, they had just taken her for a ride.... notice the incoming mileage of zero on my receipt? These mechanics are shifty-eyed, low-level, america-made only. Billy laughed when I thanked him before getting in my "warm toasty car. " As an intuitive woman, it felt very violating. But nothing bad can happen in Salem ya know? So if you are a man or woman, buyer beware.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

After £650 worth of repairs being needed to the vehicle the garage who fixed it found out it had been a problem for a while and should have been picked up by the dealer before selling. Warranty offered with the car is useless and they try everything they can to avoid payment. I’m now down £650 after less then 3 months of owning the car.

I would never recommend buying from them, My car has been nothing but problems since day one, costing me money almost every month. The poor car quality and non-existent after-sales service are unacceptable. I trusted them, and now I'm paying for it with no help in sight. Save your hard-earned money and look elsewhere!

Truly awful company

Awful customer service, false documents provided for service history.
Didn’t register the V5 at all, I had to do it myself in the end.
Awful communication, broken promises, then totally ignored official complaint and when auto trader asked them to respond they ignored them too.
Avoid at all costs but if you do choose to go with them make sure you have all of the correct paperwork and that they havnt “silenced” any dash notifications before you drive off….cos they will come on on ur journey home!
I’ve never dealt with such a poorly organised and run company.
In response to their reply...the actual sale was to my Mum but he knows exactly who I am, dont you Mo! I paid for the car, it was registered in Mums name thou.

Worst and Horrible Customer Service

Got AUDI A4 car from SP Global in November 2024. I had hardly driven the car due to issues noticed immediately after purchase. I called the dealer to inform him about issues observed, then took it to at Poole as it had outstanding recall. I requested for a comprehensive health check on the car as serious functional issues were discovered. I called the dealer to inform him about the issues as the car was registered with warranty as promised. But to my surprise it I got excuses and failed promises. This became a nightmare as I had to be chasing them for months with several lies, no response, lack of professionalism and distrust. Efforts to get the dealer to fixed the car became impossible. I was made to feel I was been helped with favour, but I maintained the fact that I paid for the car and its my right as a customer to get value for my money. To my surprise I chased them to provide warranty details which i contacted the warranty company myself, but was denied as the car was not properly registered at the point of purchase. After series of calls, WhatsApp messages and chasing, they finally agreed I bring the car over for fixing which too almost 2 months so they can fix with their mechanic. The dealer called to request I contribute for the repairs but I stood my grounds the I would not add a penny as the car had not been used since purchase. After I pick up the car, I drove straight to MOT as it was past due. The car failed as it was obvious the did not fix it and the repairs on the left hub/arm was badly damage. I called the dealer and he refused to accept responsibility to fix. This is 6months 10 days as at today 21st May. I strongly consider this breach of trust, poor customer service, total scam and lack of professionalism. I advise customer to please stay away from SP GLOBAL MOTORS

Avoid SP Global Motors Ltd at All Costs – Dishonest, Incompetent, and in Violation of Consumer Law

I had the grave misfortune of purchasing a car from SP Global Motors Ltd in November 2024, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the outset, the dealership demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, integrity, and respect for the law.
Firstly, the V5C document – something that should have been handled swiftly and correctly by any reputable dealership – was never provided. After months of chasing, I discovered through the DVLA that the car had actually been registered in someone else’s name. I was forced to apply for the V5C myself, and only finally received it in May 2025, six months after purchase. This is an appalling failure of basic responsibility on the dealership’s part.
To make matters worse, the advertisement for the vehicle clearly stated it would come with two sets of keys. I was given only one. Repeated calls to the dealership were met with avoidance, false promises of call-backs, and total inconsistency. This dishonest behaviour went on for over five months and constitutes a blatant violation of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 – specifically, the vehicle was "not as described."
The dishonesty didn’t stop there. I was also promised a warranty, which was never provided. Each time I contacted the dealership, I was met with a new excuse, a new lie, and more evasion. I was forced into the deeply frustrating and humiliating position of having to constantly chase what was legally owed to me, while the dealership did everything in their power to fob me off.
SP Global Motors Ltd has shown a total disregard for legal obligations, customer care, and common decency. Their conduct was not only unprofessional – it was downright shameful. I am relieved to never have to deal with them again. Avoid this dealership at all costs. This was one of the worst consumer experiences of my life.
Awful.
