Meredith was an absolute gem. We descended on Rome for a wedding. We had such a large group (28) that were scattered doing diiferent things all over the place. She kept us organized no matter if we were going different directions and was able to arrange things at the last minute without blinking an eye. She handled transportation including private car service and train tickets. She recommended different activities or tours. Nothing was too big or small and she made sure she knew everyone in the group. She even hooked us up with a lovely restaurant off the beaten path and got them to open early and accommodate our entire clan when we settled down to have a family dinner one night. This trip would not have been as fun if we hadn't found her company. All we had to do was show up.

Merideth was amazing! All of our adventures went off without a hitch. If there was a problem she quickly helped us out, and was so gracious when we threw last minute things at her! 10 out of 10!

Meredith was AMAZING to work with. She organized every detail in our small group tours and transportation. I would definitely recommend using her! I felt comfortable that we always had English-speaking guides and that if I had any questions I could always reach out to her. She would text me throughout the week and ask how things were going. She’s very personable and she makes sure your experience is great!

Spicy Meatballs organised the best tours and Meredith was so so helpful! All of our tour guides were amazing and we were always in small groups which really enhanced the experience. We did a few tours through Spicy Meatballs in Rome and could not find anything to improve as they were just perfect!

All of the tours I booked with Spicy Meatball were absolutely exceptional. From getting them scheduled, to purchasing, to attending the tours, everything was smooth sailing thanks to Meredith and her tour guides. Each excursion I did with Spicy meatball just took my entire trip over the top with unique adventures and beautiful sights and abilities. I can't recommend them enough!!

I'm going on my first overseas vacation in a few weeks, and I've been trying to schedule all my "must do" activities. I tried to schedule through one of the big tour companies, but it was almost impossible to navigate through the choices on their website and customer service was nonexistent. Through a happy series of events, I stumbled upon Spicy Meatball, and took a chance with customer service - within a few minutes, they'd put together a custom tour package for my family that included transportation to and from the train station. I am incredibly impressed and very, very pleased with the service I received!

Meredith was super helpful from the very beginning in just helping me figure out which tour to do. We did have a bit of trouble in finding our guide as we never did receive a "voucher" or instructions but once we hooked up with her, she was very informative and we were glad to be part of such a small group. I say small group, but we did the "Early Bird gets the Sacred Worm" tour and there were many other people there with us...but I know it was less crowded than if we would have gone at a later time. We'd highly recommend and if we are ever in Italy again...we will be looking up "Spicy Meatballs".

Meredith was very helpful—she was patient, kind and supportive throughout our trip to Italy. We did the Vatican tour (that was vetted through her company) one day, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Meredith or her company to friends.

Meredith was very helpful in helping me come up with my itinerary for Rome. She gave me detailed instructions on what I could do on each of my days in Rome. I also did a tour with her company down south to Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano from Rome which was worthwhile. Throughout my stay in Rome she made sure I was getting the most of my vacation. I booked two tours in Italy in mid October 2019, one of the Coliseum in Rome and one to Pompeii, through Meredith and Spicy Meatball. First off, Meredith is a joy to work with! I had multiple changes to the dates and group sizes for both tours and she patiently worked with me to make sure all of my requests were accommodated. The prices for the tours were fantastic in comparison to other sites I had researched. The tour guides for both tours were incredibly knowledgeable about the sites and history of the areas we toured, especially the guide for the Coliseum. Literally, this guide had a degree in ancient church architecture and was extremely knowledgeable about a number of specific details during the tour of the Coliseum and surrounding area that I feel a typical guide might be unaware of. From start to finish, the tours Meredith set my group up with were flawless and provided a great experience; I'm smiling now writing this just thinking back on those experiences; wonderful memories you can't put a price on! I highly recommend Meredith and Spicy Meatball if you seek to explore the well known, or less well known, aspects of Italy!

Meredith was amazing! My travel friend and I had different interests at times for the tours and Meredith was able to accommodate both of our needs. We both agreed on the Vatican tour but I refused to cook a thing while in Italy (even for funsies) 😉 but that is exactly what my friend was dying to do! Meredith scheduled everything perfectly so she could do the cooking class nearby. One of tours something out of her control changed and she immediately got us an equally awesome Tuscan wine tour! Our experiences in Rome and the surrounding areas will last a lifetime, and not without the effort and know-how of Meredith! She loves her country and does everything she can to have travelers really get a feel for Italy as well. Thanks so much!

From our first contact with Meredith until we actually arrived in Rome and took the class, we had the best experience! You can tell she is passionate about what she does, has first hand experience with her tours and knows exactly what she’s talking about and we got to benefit from her expertise. What an awesome class and our kids (teenagers) loved it too. I would definitely recommend Spicy Meatball tours to anyone I know. We did the Vatican night tour (ridiculously beautiful), Rome Italian Food tour (too much fun), Amalfi Coast tour (amazing), and pasta making class (fun & incredible), each experience I would do all over again! I can’t say enough about each tour that they set up for us, their knowledge and suggestions were on point. Our trip to Italy was more memorable and spectacular because of Spicy Meatball tours.

I met Meredith through a girl that I met at the Coliseum that sold tours there. She told me about her girlfriend Meredith that had a business called Spicy Meats balls and she would be able to help me with tours of Rome.
Meredith made a dream come true for me!! She helped me get a private tour through her business to visit the Vatican. I also spent some time with her eating dinner at her husband restaurant. Best Italian food ever and the hospitality was awesome.
She’s is a wonderful, honest and made me feel like we have been friends forever. I plan on going back in 2020 and staying at their Airbnb that they also own. I highly recommend Meredith & Spicy Meatballs!!!

Spicy meatball was recommended by Air B n B where I stayed in Rome. Then I was connected to Meredith who was super amazing helping me with all my tours in Rome and Florence. Initially I planned to go alone so she recommended me tours to make sure that I feel comfortable as a single traveler even though at the end my friend Fizah decided to join me in the last minute . And when I asked Meredith if my friend could join the tours in the last minute .. Meredith came and save our days with her being accommodating and makes us really felt looked after. All tours were amazing with a really professional tour guides and very friendly also accommodating with all our last minutes requests . Merideth was an amazing resource and worked hard to make sure we had an amazing trip to Rome. She was very engaged and listened to our preferences to which she helped us tailor a wonderful vacation. On top of tours she regularly checked in during our stay to offer extra ideas of stores, restaurants, and locals spots which really was valuable. I would highly recommend using her services.
