Scammers.
Super unprofessional.
No exchanges of dates, no refunds- I wonder why?
No reason.
Day 6 still waiting for response from " supervisor".....
Scam, Scam, scam.
Sent me to closed hotel, refuse refund.
Sent me to closed hotel, refuse refund.
This place sucks, do not use them. Customer service won't refund and are asking me for pictures of the fence around the property to confirm closure.
Customer support
I wanted to change my booking and contacted their customer support a number of time by phone and email. I am totally dissatisfied with the way my request was handled. It took approximately seven weeks to receive a response, which is far from acceptable and does not reflect a customer-oriented approach.
Due to the delay, I had to contact the hotel directly to resolve my booking. This experience has been frustrating and inconvenient, and it has significantly impacted my trust in your service.
As a result, I do not plan to use your platform for future bookings.
Awful experience cost me my vacation
I had a total disaster of an experience with Traveluro that resulted in losing both my hotel reservation and the full payment.
Before my scheduled stay, I contacted Traveluro to ask if I could change my reservation dates. I was explicitly told that modifying the dates would be possible, and I also confirmed this directly with the hotel by calling them. The hotel was even willing to update the reservation for me right on that phone call but were limited by their system due to my booking being done via Traveluro. They just needed someone from Traveluro to make the same request. Based on that information, I did not use the original reservation dates.
However, after that confirmation, I got total radio silence from Traveluro even after following up with them SEVERAL times ahead of the original reservation date. The date eventually passed and they failed to follow through or coordinate with the hotel. As a result, the booking was marked as a “no-show,” and the hotel could no longer modify it.
When Traveluro finally reached back out, I was now told:
The reservation had always been non-refundable
The reservation had always been unchangeable
I needed to cancel the booking (which I couldn’t do since it was already in the past)
Throughout the process, I was passed between support agents, had to repeat the same information multiple times, and was unable to get a clear or consistent resolution. At one point, they even asked me to agree to cancellation penalties(mind you, AFTER the reservation had already passed) just for the chance of requesting a refund.
Ultimately, Traveluro refused to take responsibility for the incorrect information I was given and the total lack of follow-through on their end. The situation only escalated because of their initial miscommunication. I lost my reservation and the full cost of the stay due to misinformation and poor customer support.
The best part, after it became clear there was going to be zero accountability from them I stopped following up. Then, after 1 full year later, the agent reached back out to me to ask if I had any further questions! It was a great reminder for me to share my experience online.
I would strongly advise others to avoid this company if your vacation is important to you.
Somebody please sue them
When trying to book on the phone with them in order to use ma eCredits (which is impossible online, although they suggest to do so), every phonecall was forwarded to an Indian call centre, where after a while you will be informed that the escalation team will have to call you back. Of course this never happens.
Unbelievable practice. Wonder how this is even possible nowadays.
Go elsewhere. Can only be better.
never use them
Don't use them , they are useless if you need to contact them !
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. The team responds quickly to messages and really takes customer requests into consideration.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I would advise anyone looking to book any travel accommodations to steer clear of this company. I booked a trip and had to cancel because of illness and they issued me a credit code to use at a later date. I have been trying for over a week now to utilize the code and many emails later they have now told me to book my reservations on their site and send them the reservation number and they will issue me a refund of my original booking. I do not trust them to issue the refund after the run around I have gotten just to get to that point. Unfortunately, I saw all the bad reviews after I used them. I have booked many times through Expedia and only had great service. This company is a huge scam. Now I am out $187.00.
$1,000 eCredit issued — impossible to redeem
On 21 November 2025, Traveluro/trivago DEALS issued me a $1,000 USD eCredit (Ticket #14098818) as compensation for wrongfully cancelling my booking. When I tried to use it, the checkout page had no field to enter the code.
I called support and a supervisor named Len confirmed the credit was valid, confirmed availability for my chosen hotel at $1,044, and asked me to proceed. I confirmed in writing within the hour. The booking was never processed.
Over the next five days, seven different agents (Rey, Len, Janine, Jun, Victoria, Marie, Mowii) sent me identical copy-paste messages asking me to pay full price out of pocket and trust them to refund me. Based on the hundreds of similar complaints on BBB (394 complaints, 386 unanswered, F rating), I declined.
I have since sent a formal Letter Before Action to Holisto UK Limited, filed a BBB complaint, and submitted my case to Elliott Advocacy. I am still waiting for a resolution.
If you are experiencing the same eCredit issue, you are not alone.
If 0 stars could be rated
If 0 stars could be rated, this would be it!! Make a booking in April 2025 next to an international airport for easy access. Hotel said booking was cancelled on 30th Jan and no contact... Took my hard earned $380nzd for ONE night stay!! Extremely fecked off!! And trying to make contact, what a joke! DO NOT TRUST TAVELURO
I bought a 2 nights stay in NYC and wasted $600!
I bought a 2 nights stay in NYC through Trivago/Traveluro last year. That weekend it snowed so we requested a credit so we could book later. They issued a credit through traveluro.com. However on that site, there is no place to put in your ecredit. When I called them they said they escalated it. But we have not heard back anything. We spend more than $600 and nothing to show for it. I suggest avoiding them and sticking to other sites like hotels.com
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service - had to change hotel dates due to issues travelling to Cuba and cancelled holiday but the process was very straight forward
Traveluro, just be patient with them!
ok. this may take a while of explaining but, this company gave me an eCredit which I could not use the conventual way on the site to reserve a new room. Although it took several attempts and almost 6 months of back and forth, mostly on my part, they have honored the credit! The issue is this: you must first secure a reservation, pay for it and then contact customer service with your eCredit and info of new reservation. they will in turn, refund your existing reservation using your eCredit. in the end, it all worked out well for me and I will use this site again since the price point is within my budget!
I traveled from Canada to Dubai in…
I traveled from Canada to Dubai in January 2026. I made my hotel reservation in November 2025 through Traveluro. Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff informed me that there was no booking available under my name, despite the confirmation provided by Traveluro.
I spent nearly three hours calling back and forth trying to resolve the issue, but no solution was provided. When I asked to speak with a manager, the representative first refused to transfer the call and then abruptly hung up on me while I was still speaking.
This was extremely poor and unacceptable customer service. Traveluro never followed up and made no effort to compensate for the inconvenience caused. I will never recommend Traveluro to anyone.
Utter sh#t.

When I clicked on pay it said:
You can cancel your ticket until 2 days before your scheduled arrival day.
When, a few days later –– which was still 9 days before the scheduled arrival –– I wanted to cancel it said:
Non-refundable.
Surfing the web I recognize many people had that experience. Save yourself the pain and don't purchase with them.
Huge snowstorm hit
When a huge snowstorm hit on the night before our hotel stay, we had to cancel. The hotel refused to refund or even provide a future night credit. But the Customer Service reps at Splitty stepped in and just kept hammering the hotel on our behalf. Eventually they reversed their position and refunded out payment. I’m with Splitty for life. Great job.
Booked a trip 3 months in advance
Booked a trip 3 months in advance. Few days before the long anticipated vacation they say hotel is overbooked and canceled us. Turns out hotel never even knew we existed. This is a scam!
My hotel reservation disappeared and they resolved it.
I have a reservation for Sitges this summer with my whole family. The price was so low that I started to suspect it was a scam. After reading the reviews after booking, I panicked and called the hotel, where they told me the reservation didn't exist. I almost had a heart attack! I wrote to customer service and they resolved the issue. They responded quickly, sometimes the same day, sometimes within a week, but they always got the problem solved. The hotel now has the reservation correctly. I hope I won't have to change my opinion this summer, but as of today, the problem was resolved properly.
Many thanks to Anne from customer service for her great work and help
Super helpful
I asked for a change to my booking as I’d booked the incorrect dates and even though there was an ‘non cancellation’ policy in place Ayra was super helpful getting my dates changed. Which theoretically they didn’t have to do. Great service and very helpful. Thanks again Ayra
