Terrible customer service

I did a women’s doubles in Lisbon with my partner last weekend and there are 3 of my stations missing - sled push (neither my partner nor I have photos), sled pull (they only took photos of my partner) and burpee broad jump (neither my partner nor I have photos). My partner and I have sent emails enquiring whether all the photos were uploaded (the photographer was in our faces during the sled push so there are photos) and we have had no response. Not even an acknowledgment. It is poor show considering we have paid for the photo package. Honestly it’s not worth it because even the images they have taken are unusable. For me it is the APPALLING customer service that is the most egregious of the two issues and for that reason I would advise anyone not to purchase the package or purchase photos from them. If you’re going with a mate or family member you’ll be better off asking them. Terrible service and terrible customer service.

Paid €15 for a single high-resolution photo from a race. Nearly 48 hours later, still waiting for the download link.

Their support reply was a generic message about processing 3 million photos per weekend. I get the volume — but the payment went through instantly, and at €15 per photo this isn't a budget service. The delivery experience should match the price.

In 2026, with the processing power available, there's no reason a paid photo should take two full days to reach the customer. If you can charge in real time, you should deliver in something close to it.

Employees endanger their customers

The business concept is to take photos of sporting events and sell them to the participants. The employees are extremely inconsiderate in their approach and do not hesitate to endanger the participants. Attempts to contact support were unsuccessful.

Useless

Useless. Nothing works on the website - GPX file upload doesn't work and there isn't even a bib number search. Totally useless

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. How can Ironman use this company for their photos??? I pre-purchased a coupon to download my photos. They say you can use a selfie search but it only showed a limited amount of photos. Also the GPX file upload did not show any of my photos. Then after hours of digging through the total amount of photos I found about 10 more photos of me for a total of 27 photos. When I used my coupon at check-out, suddenly there were only 15 photos in my profile. Where's the rest???

HYROX EVENT

Sportograf took photos at Hyrox Johannesburg and I must say I am not happy with the quality and the photos. I have multiple duplicates of the same photo. Which I feel I paid for a service and wanted quality and I didn't receive it.

My recommendation to anyone participating in Hyrox do NOT purchase the photographer package, rather bring along someone to take photos on your phone, you will get better quality photos

Have to pay double for a service they say is included

Cannot download tagged photos of me even though I bought the full package. They explicitly advertise that this is possible - they even encourage it. So all photos of me entering and exiting the swim section of a major triathlon event are not available unless I pay for them again.
I have tried with customer service many times. They keep emailing me asking if the issue has been resolved - to which I reply every time : No.

I have seldom experienced such frustrating and poor customer service. They are clearly not a serious company. I will never buy from them again.

Do Not Pre-Purchase Photos

I pre-purchased a photo package for a Deka Fit event. The advertising claimed that there would be many photos taken, up to 40. I ended up with only 2 photos of myself. And they are not even good quality photos. It's not worth the $30 I paid. Sportograf will not respond to my emails, and I do not see a way to call them since they are overseas. Deka Fit also refuses to help me and say that they will not budge on their no refund policy.

You won't be able to access your photos

I have reached out numerous times regarding the fact that the photos Sportograf approved as me have not been linked to my account. The event advertised by buying the package, you would receive all the photos of you. This is not happening. I have received a few, with over 20 I can't access. Also, they stated they would have automatic cameras set up along the course to provide more opportunities for photos, but this was not true. If you participate in Tough Mudder, unless you are all alone at the obstacle, there probably won't be many photos of you. Maybe a lot of blurred in the background, but not many of you. The photographer will focus on one person as they do the obstacle, and that one person will get 15-20 photos, while you're blurred behind. I would recommend waiting until after the event to see if there are even any of you before you purchase the package. As of this writing, there was no cost difference between pre- or post-purchasing.

If you do need to reach out, your only option is via email. They will immediately send you a confirmation email saying they received it and will get back to you, but they will not. I have sent a handful of emails over the last 3 weeks, trying to access my photos; they have not responded to one.

THEY ARE SO SLOW WITH UPLOADING

THEY ARE SO SLOW, with uploading photos. It's takes days, to a week. It's a really outdated way of working and they are very much surpassed with how Spartan is doing their photos in Asia, which as available in real-time, so you can post it along with your social media. It's live and IN the moment. By the time you get your Sportfograf photos, it's already passed the moment of posting really. They are really ancient, not fitting this day and age of digital and social media. I dont understand why big event s like UTMB and Hyrox are even using them.

Check your photos before you buy!!

Very disappointed by quality and number of photos of a recent event (Norseman 2025). It appears that they focus mostly on leaders and don’t stay to take pictures of all finishers.

I would advise that you hold off buying any package untill you see exactly what photos they have. If not in top few people it is likely you will be massively disappointed with the quality and number of pictures.

Simple summary is, I would not use their service again and I overpaid for average photos.
