Bought 2 pairs of cargo shorts this morning from Dundee branch. Had them before and they fitted fine, the two I just bought were same name, same size on the label but much shorter. firetrap must be saving on cloth.took them back to the shop a few hours later with receipt and tags still attached.
Explained this to the sales assistant who refused me a refund and would only give me a credit note.
Last penny spent with that company. No wonder Amazon seeing them all off. Never a problem there

The staff member on the till had a bad attitude. I believe it is important to get the basics right. Hello...Please... Thank you. None of that. A miserable facial expression thrown in makes the experience of being a customer an even more unpleasant. I got the impression that she really did not want to be there. If you are not happy then leave, you are not a tree. You can move you know. When I asked her to get me a pack of wooden hangers she rolled her eyes and huffed like I had really inconvenienced her. White lady, mid twenties, tatoos and a scarf on her head. Wont be shopping in that store again.

My father ordered 5 T-shirts online and when they arrived there was only 4 in the package. The order form stated that all 5 were in the packet but there was only 4.

Contacted sports direct and they said they checked cctv and all 5 T-shirts were packaged.
This is a lie, 4 was received and the package was unopen when it arrived. So someone is lying and 100% it’s not my father.

Sadly rude and so unhelpful via email chat etc.

We will never use sports direct again after this. I use them regularly but never again after this. You’ve lost two customers for your lies and terrible customer service.

Would it be possible to see this video of all the shirts being packaged by your staff????

Been a member at SD in Bury St Edmunds for about 8 months. The gym itself and the staff have been fabulous. Pool excellent. Good equipment and clean surroundings.

It's the company itself that is awful. On Tuesday 8th August 2023, the staff (including the branch manager) where informed that the gym was closing for goods that same day and that they no longer had jobs. Club members (about 3000 of us) received an email that same day informing them that their club was closed.

It was clearly planned as equipment was being moved out by a specialist gym logistics company the very next day. And before the week was out, the whole place boarded up.

A bit of research shows that they have been doing similar to other clubs.

If there is still a Sports Direct Fitness health club near you and you are considering joining, DON'T! It's likely they'll close they club on you with little to no notice.

Permanently closed Bury St Edmunds gym giving me less than 24 hours notice.

Total disregard for people and their lives. Avoid.

Absolutely disgusting.
Signed up for a 12 month contract as it seemed like a good price for a gym with a pool. The gym facilities are tired. The staff are rarely present anywhere and spend forever in the disabled/family toilet and changing room, of which there is only one, and they teach kids swimming lessons so force father's to take young girls into the men's open changing room and vice versa - not really appropriate for young children.

Since joining the swimming pool has been shut on 4 separate occasions; once for about a fortnight, twice for a few days, and it has currently been shut for almost a fortnight and they don't even know if it will be open again this month!

They are not providing the services they offer, they cannot even argue that this is general maintenance because general maintenance shouldn't happen so frequently and for such long periods of time. But will they let me cancel because they aren't providing the services I signed up for? No. No they won't because they don't care about the customers or their mental health, all they care about is getting their dirty mitts on your money!

worst company ever. sent me a broken item and cost me money to send it back . do not use unless you want to pay money to send it back when it's their fault

what bad service, placed an £100 order on line, as i pressed enter i saw that my old address was on for delivery, found it strange as i had already added new address and cancel old!! but there is was, got hold of the chat line within 30 seconds, took them 5 minutes to reply, told what had happened and they said they cannot help becausethe order is already processed, ummmnoit was NOT!! according to my bank they have not taken my money and that it is pending!! so they lied!! they want your money but not prepared to help you!! shocking!!! second big order i have placed, previous order the wrong items arrived, not what i ordered, I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!! my husband had another issue and they would not help, why because they want you to buy more and keep paying delivery!!! how am i suppose to collect my parcel? i am far from where it is being delivered !!! BAD SERVICE, rather go to another online service that is prepared to help.

Terrible customer service. Staff rude and disrespectful, don’t answer calls, & just not worth the hassle.

Very difficult to cancel membership. Then you think it is cancelled until out of the blue you get a call to say you owe them months of unpaid fees. The gym itself was old and dirty. Staff incompetent.

Aloud of rubbish item was sent to my old address try to cancel it but no you can’t they won’t let you I am so disappointed won’t be receiving my item I paid for and it’s miles away so can’t travel to get it either there should be an option to cancel your order any other website there is it a way to keep you locked it to the payment so they can keep your money scum bags if you ask me I will be taking this further

Terrible customer service I had a package that went missing they said they would investigate and never did every time I tried to contact them they said there dealing with it and will get back to me and never did. I would not recommend ordering as if it goes missing your money gone. Also there clothing seems like seconds I saw a item for sale with a hole in it saying on discount who wants a T-shirt with a hole.

Sports Direct sent me the wrong size trainer. I have wasted well over an hour speaking to customer services (politely) and both times they ended the webchat without giving me the information I need to return the incorrect item and enable me to order the right one.

Gym was lovely - The Cafe attached to the gym was not. (Jo’s food bar) The lady on the til was so rude. Really unpleasant when taking your order. Really shocked at the service.
I would definitely NOT recommend this cafe.

They deliver your parcel to the incorrect address then claim it’s delivered! Clearly they are unable to use the map of where the parcel was actually delivered. Totally disappointed! Stay away!!

Very poor staff attitude. If you have a till upstairs and it's closed put a sign up and don't argue with your customers that if there's no one manning it it's closed. Customers aren't mind readers and signs for customers isn't rocket science.

Avoid like to plague. They carried on charging me via direct debit 7 months after cancelling. Despite them explicitly stating that they would cancel it and that I shouldn’t.

I joined the gym in Epsom. I do appreciate it's cheaper than the ones nearby by approximately £5 -£6 per month, but the customer service and appreciation really suck. I got the feeling if you don't like it, you can go. For instance, they will change the timetable as they please. As such, you can't plan your visits against that, even worst if you have a kids. My advice is if you can afford a few £s a month more, go somewhere else or else, you will have to go through the hassle of cancellation - not good if you read some of the reviews here.

The changing rooms at Huntingdon have been cold for weeks and complaining to staff has not had any effect. The reception and staff areas are nice and warm so why can’t the changing rooms be the same. It’s a shame as staff good and facilities and classes are excellent and good value
