This was an easy site to navigate and signing up was easy, also. Even executing the transfers was straightforward. My feedback for a possible improvement would be to allow the creator to change the main photo and/or add photos. I didn't see a way to do that. Overall, a simple way to raise funds and keep most of them for the cause. Thank you!

This was a very easy way to raise money for my sister, who was in the hospital for almost 3 months. She was single and on a limited income and was very worried about paying her bills while she was in the hospital. Putting her story on Spotfund helped raise the money she needed while she could not work. Unfortunately, she passed away, but the money raised eased her mind while she was hospitalized, knowing everything was being taken care of for her when she couldn't do it herself.

[edited since Spotfund's response/actions] Initially rated them two stars.. I had issues reporting scams on their platform. Spotfund listened! They made it easier to report, and they seem to act quicker now (immediately pausing the more obvious scams). This is a great outcome. They are one of the best platforms to deal with regarding this. However, like the others, they don't seem to do any substantial pre-checks.. I find very obvious copy/pasted scams, sometimes using the same photos.. Hopefully they incorporate better systems in future (AI etc).

I have never done a fund raiser online before and I was nervous about being able to get it set up. Spotfund made it very easy. I was glad my friend told me about it. You don't take a hefty percentage of the funds raised, which is the reason I chose this platform versus some of the others. Thank you for your support and help!
