SpotOn GPS Fence gives dogs the freedom to roam and owners the confidence that comes with truly reliable containment. Designed, engineered, and supported in the USA, SpotOn is the original GPS-powered virtual dog fence and continues to set the standard for accuracy, reliability, and performance. At the core of SpotOn is patented True Location™ GPS technology, which corrects for common GPS issues like drift and signal interference. With the launch of the new Nova Edition, that technology takes a major leap forward—leveraging best-in-class hardware, industry-leading accuracy, and all-new smart features to deliver even more consistent containment in real-world conditions, based on over 5 million hours of real-world dog movement data. Using the SpotOn app, you can create custom fences in minutes—no wires, no digging, no maintenance, and no subscription. Set boundaries as small as 1/3-acre or as vast as you need, even in remote areas with heavy tree cover. As your dog approaches a boundary, the collar delivers clear, fair alerts through tones and vibration that trigger precisely when they should. You can also track your dog’s location in real time, right from your phone. Backed by real human support, SpotOn is built for people who want dependable technology, thoughtful training support, and freedom that works in the real world.

Spot on collar has given us peace of mind letting out two very active bird dogs out on our farm. When I have called with questions Customer Service has been outstanding. Highly recommend this product.

Jack trained himself as to where the boundary is. Jack is a full blooded Border Collie and when I put the collar on the charger he still respects the boundary. Absolutely and totally satisfied

One of the contact points broke about a month after purchase. Customer service was quick to respond and replaced free of charge. The collar has been a game changer for our Australian Shepard. We wish we would have purchased years ago.

I love the SpotOn Fence. It's easy to set up & use. I don't have to worry about my dog getting out of her boundaries. It's worth the cost. I like the button that allows me to whistle for my dog. She comes within 20 seconds of me calling. I can't say enough good things about the SpotOn Fence. You will not regret investing in a collar for your dog.

We have 2 collars, the nova and the previous generation.
The signal quality is pretty awful, the dogs leave the property and there are no alarms, alerts or anything. Sometimes there are alarms and the nova collar has shocked my dog while on the deck of the house ~ 20meters from the fence line.
I'd like to return these.

This collar has made my beagles life more enjoyable. She can run the yard instead of being chained.

Looks like we have been abandoned by customer service. Collar has stopped sending any commands or notification. It sometimes still allows to track/see location if done manually through the app. App says good cell and sat signal. But customer service now says the app doesn’t really know and it’s just poor signal strength. Collar is same location, boundaries, and network weve used for two years. Everything works great here except the collar. customer service seems to have no interest in helping to resolve. Just renewed the cell coverage for another two years and now appears to be a total waste. Looks like we need to shop for another provider.

Super well made. Works fantastic. Buckle on the Nova is absolutely absurd though. It's tucked on the collar itself not at the end of the strap. Why? It makes it hard as heck to get on.

My dog was already trained for the invisible fence. When switching to SpotOn, I trained my dog on where the new boundaries were a few times and she adapted to it quickly.
The best part of having the SpotOn system is the alerts (Im the one who set the alert, tracking, and the use on multiple properties. We switch from a 1 acre property to 10 acres about every other day and it is flawless.
The other great.part of the SpotOn system is no more wires. The system sounds expensive initially but I've replaced the wire on the 1 acre property several times over the years and can't imagine running wire on 10 acres. Not to mention the headache of chasing a break in the wire. SpotOn uses no wires making it superior.

Keep being told the issues with my collar are because of my boundaries, but the collar wouldn’t even stop tracking when I told it to. The collar is defective and I’m being gaslit. So sucky. I wanted to love this device.

This is a must have for dog owners. We have 6 acres and she can roam the whole property and still remain in her boundaries This collar was life changing

We appreciate the freedom Spot On gives our fur babies to explore and the peace of mind we have knowing they are safe. Very easy to set up even for the technologically challenged. Customer service was exceptional when a hiccup occurred. We will definitely recommend Spot On to other families.

Our standard poodle puppy -- now a year-and-a-half -- used to visit our neighbor down the hill regularly. We made her a nice big SpotOn yard to roam around in, got her trained, and voila (!) no more trips down that hill (which was taking her way too close to a road). We also cordoned off our driveway -- which keeps her nice and safe, and delivery folks appreciate that, too.

The day after the technology arrived and before I could set it up my Great Dane puppy ran after a truck on the remote county road I live on and she was hit. Broken ulna bone. After recovery in the subsequent months I placed the color on to have her get used to it. She was roaming outside and came back without the collar. Unfortunately the collar was not activated so I could not use GPS to find it. I have searched my property for the last 1-2 months and cannot find it. While all of this demonstrates my need for your product, I am out $1000 from the lost collar. So expensive to spend another $1000 - thus my main complaint is the price for your product.

Training our new LGD to our farm boundaries was amazingly easy! Set up & training was very simple & the dog is safe!
I also love the option of setting up keep out zones! What a huge help!
He’s free and happy!

We have had our SpotOn collar for just over 2 years. It gets used daily to keep our 95lb Labradoodle safely on our forested 7 acre property. It provides us with the ability to let him out of the house at any time without worrying that he will get onto the road or get lost in the woods. While he may occasionally go outside the fence, the cellular option immediately informs us so we can take action. We also like the fact that we were able to set up fences at other properties that we visit occasionally to keep him contained. He is not bothered by the collar and it does not prevent him from splashing in the river. In the early days we reached out to customer service with questions and got prompt responses.

There is drift when you set the boundary and there is drift as the dog moves around within the boundary.
In areas with less than ideal GPS constellation it's hard to get to get an accurate fix.
In my case, my home does not have
good GPS signal and sometimes my dog gets a correction as she approaches my door. Not so good!
