I had to have TECA surgery for my 1 year old poodle due to a violent bite attack she endured as a puppy. Spot paid! No push back (but I also gave them all Vet historical medical records).

Response time was odd, some claims paid fast and some took a month and I thought I would never get off the Queue. But that was ok, since Spot did pay the claims as expected. Once they approved the claim, it was in my bank account within days.

The Spot app is not bad to work with. It gives you up-to-date info about your claim.

My only negative is the offshore call center reps. I want an American that speaks good English. The reps were ok to deal with but their English was not great. I would prefer someone in America.

All the talk about you being the best was correct. Your easy to work with you go the extra mile during hard times with my pet illness. love you guys.

I recently submitted two claims for our cat, Chouchou, and had a very positive experience with Spot Pet Insurance.
The first claim was processed and approved within just two days, and the second was completed shortly afterward. Both claims were approved, and the reimbursements were issued through direct deposit.
The online submission process was simple and straightforward, and I appreciated being able to track the progress of each claim.

So far I'm very pleased with Spot and would definitely recommend them to other pet owners.

While I had hoped to never have to use my Pet insurance, I am thankful to have made the decision to cover my pup. Unexpectedly, he had a few urgent vet visits that ultimately meant a pricey procedure and treatments. The ease of filing claims and checking on policy terms is significantly easier than any other insurance app I've used and I appreciate how quickly Spot is able to make a determination, along with providing the EOB. Highly recommend Spot to any pet owner.

I was happy with the results of my refund of my money and I would like to know if I have to pay the deductible every year?

They try not to pay like people insurance. It's better than nothing if you have a major problem.
edit: I very much doubt they are doing anything to make sure they are paying out note claims as the response says. Another company lying using AI bots. Lost a star. Still better than nothing in my case. I guess.

Spot has offered me with an affordable.policy for my pet. They have great coverage and tht calim submission is very easy to follow. I am very happy with them and my mind at peace knowing Lula can receive the care she needs at an affordable price.

I am very impressed with this business. My cat recently became very sick and I had to take her to the animal hospital and our regular vet clinic. I had several claims and all of them were handled in good time without any problems.
Sadly, my cat got worse and we were forced to put her to sleep. A day or two after canceling her policy I received a call from a representative named Shelly. She called just to see how I was doing and wished me well. She was so sweet and kind. This call really brightened my day. A business who actually reaches out to it's customers like this deserves 10 stars.

It was really easy to file a claim and have it accepted. Also appreciate that if you have a pet pass away they send you an email with their condolences and automatically cancel your account for that pet - very thoughtful.

These people are absolutely horrible.I advice that you do not trust them as they just want to take your money & the stated false information. I received an email stating that coverage was available after the waiting period. They denied my claim due to being that they stated that I had to wait an extra day although they told me specifically the date the insurance kicked it. They told me a specific date our dog was able to get coverage although the date of the emergency visit was that date they told me that it didn’t qualify. Then they emailed me stating it was denied & I had to call & wait an hour to find out why. The man whom was a supervisor I wanted to talk to was extremely rude & I cancelled my coverage with them. He hung up on me without saying a thing. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM. GO WOTH LEMONADE PET CO.
