Spusu website indicates that my phone will work with WiFi calling (which I need because of poor mobile reception where I live) but it is very flaky (worked perfectly with other networks). Also, Spusu do not support short code texts. This was recently an issue when I received a message from my bank, in connection with a possible fraud, to which I was required to reply, but was unable to do so, so had to telephone instead. Something that should have taken seconds therefore took the best part of half an hour by the time I had got through all the security hoops.

Best Customer Support ever. You have a problem or a question? Just write them per WhatsApp. They answer almost instant (not a bot - real human). If possible they solve the problem also almost instant. Pricing is unbelievable fair, internet connection is very stable (most of the time better than the biggest provider with the first letter of the alphabet +”1”)
In the past I switched providers almost every year but now I am a proud and unbelievable happy customer since 5 years.
I know this seems like a fake review but I can assure you it’s not. I just wrote them per WhatsApp if I can switch to a better Tarif and the literally switched me in seconds after my confirmation

Spusu wrongly deducts roaming data – I can’t use my EU data abroad!
Spusu keeps taking my EU roaming data even when I’m still in Austria. I’ve sent clear evidence (Google Timeline, exact times, etc.) showing I was back in the country — but support just ignores it and insists their system is correct.
Because of this, my EU data gets used up while I’m not even roaming, and when I actually travel abroad, I have no data left. That’s incredibly frustrating and makes the whole EU roaming plan useless.
This has happened more than once. I’ve called and emailed several times, but nothing changes. I’m filing complaints with consumer protection and the telecom authority — and I suggest others be very careful, especially if you live or travel near borders.

like the fact that most problems and issues can be solved within minutes via the whatsapp-channel... just hat to swap tariffs for my interrail-bound son (to extend roaming data)... three messages and everything was handled!

I transferred my mobile number to Spusu nearly 3 weeks and WiFi calling is still not working. I have been communicating with customer services by WhatsApp which is painful as it takes at least 2 day for them to respond to a message. My phone is listed on the Spusu website as being compatible for WiFi calling and customer services has also confirmed that it should work (it was also working with my previous service provider). I have asked for the case to be escalated 5 days ago and I have still not heard from anyone about fixing the problem. I'm not impressed so far.

Moved from Lyca to SPUSU a couple of months ago , SIM arrived next day and I was up and running in minutes, old number transferred with no issues, wanted to stay on EE network.
Rang SPUSU customer service to clarify international rates, call was answered within seconds and query dealt with.
Impressed and will be transferring a second phone when contract ends.

I started 4 months ago using spusu, since that time I use them for calls, when I call always have a problem the other part does not hear me or keeps silent interrupted, I been patient to be corrected, I switched my phone off then back on again many times unfortunately same problem, some of them when I called them they just disconnect, cannot hear me at all, I am using an Esim, so I decided to leave and asked for a PAC code, I font think they are good even if they say they are using EE network, I am using Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Customer Service is absolutely fabulous. Answers are given promptly (e.g. WhatsApp) and issues solved in a friendly and professional way. Family-owned business at its best. Switched from T-Mobile (Magenta - exactly the opposite) to spusu and wish I had done earlier.

I’m very impressed with this company. I only needed SMS as I left this god forsaken country and only pay an incredible £5 a month and international SMS included in that. And it’s eSIM enabled. Their iOS app is good too. Just straight to the point all the spending caps and limits on there with edit functionality. Not like my 3 app that’s slow and clogged with ads and crap I don’t need.
Very fast and flawless execution! Absolutely reliable and professional. Would gladly use again!
