As many other did, I purchased a lifetime for SQR.co through AppSumo. Several months ago, I received an email from Dave - the owner, saying he was going to close the platform - unless people paid him more money.

Since I purchased as a LTD, I did not pay any additional money. So without my knowledge, he closed my account. I've emailed several times to have it reinstated, and did not get a reply.

The platform is still in business - in fact, Dave expanded to offering an 'Agency' version now.

Do yourself a favor - avoid at all cost.

I can't even begin to express how utterly disappointed and infuriated I am with SQR.co. I thought I was getting a great deal with their so-called "lifetime" package, but it turns out to be nothing more than a bait-and-switch scam. After shelling out my hard-earned money for what was supposed to be a one-time payment, these con artists are now demanding even more money just to keep my links working. What kind of incompetence is this?

Who in their right mind starts a company without thinking through the entire process of funding? It's clear that SQR.co is run by people who have absolutely no idea what they're doing. They lure you in with false promises and then hit you with hidden fees once you're already committed. This is borderline criminal behavior.

Their customer service is non-existent. When I reached out to inquire about these unexpected charges, I was met with vague responses and outright lies. It's like they don't even care about their customers once they've got your money.

Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from SQR.co. Save your money and your sanity. There are plenty of other companies out there that actually deliver on their promises and value their customers. SQR.co is a complete and utter joke.

- The tool is very well built, offers a lot of features for a low price
- The company is going through a bit of turbulent times and needs its users to support it financially. It is figuring out ways to sustain itself.
- Hence don't expect any refunds if you are taking a plan.

I haven't used their service for months. I saw an invoice coming through yesterday on June 12th for June 13th for another year subscription. It is impossible to cancel your subscription yourself without contacting them (bad UI).

The owner then replied with this:
I'll cancel your subscription, but can't make the refund unfortunately. There was enough time to cancel.

So not only can you not cancel your subscription easily, but he also ended with a cute remark without refunding for an invoice that was marked today. And also said "was" instead of wasn't. I have never had that happen to me, and it is obvious on their end that I haven't used their services for many months now. So they might have a good product, but Dave is ridiculous.

Super easy to use, dynamic QR code generator. Lots of features - very powerful... analytics, a/b testing, tracking pixels, it's all there.
