Difference of Opinion
The processes were all very quick and easy however my offer was reduced to £14 with a claim that my screen had lifted. I queried this as the Apple Store had already assessed my phone for full trade-in value, commenting that it looked as good as new. The response I received made me feel I wasn’t being honest, suggesting a swollen battery or non-genuine screen. The phone was returned to me the next day but now had scuff marks over one quarter section of the screen. When I took my phone to another Apple store I received full trade in value with no question or hint that the screen had in any way lifted. In their response regarding this, Square 1 Trade In maintained there was a slight lift of the screen that would have needed repair but my doubts remain

Good service when I needed help.
My trade in had a special promotion which needed the IMEI of my new phone in order to qualify. The new IMEI was repeately rejected by the website which was frustrating. I eventually emailed for help, over the Easter weekend, and I was pleasantly surprised to to receive a prompt and helpful response. From that point on everything went smoothly and I am happy with the overall experience.
